"Bought for my 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 with the 4.7 V-8 and took about 20 min. to install. Not hard at all just follow the instructions. Gas mileage really didn't change. Did notice better throttle response and more low end pick-up and go. Does have a deep tone now and some may not like that, but I do. I am really happy with this product."

"The installation was very straight forward and the kit is very well made. I also installed an Airaid throttle body spacer at the same time. The total install time was no more than 30 minutes. This was the first mod that I did to my new truck. I was suprised by how loud the engine was after this mod. It was not a bad loud but more of a mean growl under heavy throttle. The next mod was dual flowmaster 40's which really opened things up. I think I noticed a little better gas milage but it is hard to keep my foot off of the gas pedal now."

"Good looking system, installation was a small problem however. Filter shroud did not fit exsisting airbox as shown in diagramm, had to bend shroud to fit box where exsisting clips hold it down. Took an extra 15 minutes to istall, everything else went just fine. Performance is good too early to tell on fuel economy but power increase is noticable. Would recommend this system!"

"I have waited to drive on a trip before I made this review. The passing power is better but the mileage is still about 23 on the highway. I will have to go into the "chips" to get more performance- after all it is a 6 cyl."

"I installed the Airaid Intake & Throttle Body Spacer, wasn't hard to install they just didn't think someone would buy both at the same time,,, some mods due to the extra 2". since the install lost 1-2 MPGs and don't really see the add HPs... I wish I had my $404.00 back to spend on Gas."

"There are not to many options for the new Challenger SE at this time, but Airaid made it possible with this intake. The installation was as easy as 1,2,3. The difference in throttle response and power was immediate. Excellent price. It is my wife's car and she is very happy with it. Me too!!!"

"I love it!Took me 10 minutes to install.Improved gas mileage 2-3 miles a gallon,boost horsepower.I hooked up my snowmobile trailer,12 foot enclosed,with 2 sleds on,just to see if it imroved pulling power,wow what a diffrence!Where truck use to strugle up steep grade by my house it went rite up.Cant wait winter to go upstate NY,i will be able to keep up with my freinds bigger trucks,they are going to wonder what happend to my truck.I am going to have fun!Thank you for a great product! "I am very happy with this intake. It sounds and looks good. I have a magnaflow dual exhaust as well and it makes my v8 sound great. Don't expect big gains as many people claim though, these aftermarket add ons (all brands) will provide slight performance increases, but that's a reality with every aftermarket add on. It is a great upgrade from the stock intake. I have not recorded any mpg gains yet, I have been hard on the gas pedal lately, but I am expecting between 1-1.5 mpg increase in the near future once I start driving as I used to. If you are into aftermarket upgrades, it's worth every penny!, go and get it."

"I should have bought this a long time ago. Added power, picked up a little bit on MPGs, great idea. Turbo does make more sound now. But for me, I personally like the sound of the turbo screaming at low and peak boost."

"My only complaint about this system is the top seal. The top of the box is open and a rubber seal is provided that is supposed to seal against the underside of the hood. Mine doesn't and the seal itself keeps coming off the air box. Can't say about fuel savings yet but throttle response is better and it sounds great when you mash on it."

"So over a few weeks I ordered the intake system for my silverado (2006) After reading a few reviews and checking the prices, it was this one or the AEM brute force intake. So I chose to buy this one. 3-5 business approximately passed and I received it promptly and the tracking number was up to date and exact. Installing it was very easy, I downloaded the instructions to my laptop from the manufacturer. My buddy and I spent less than 20 minutes with the installation. Gas mileage has improved, acceleration, throttle response and my engine roars when it i punch it, sometimes I can hear my engine over my flowmaster at higher rpms. I also noticed my flowmaster has gotten a bit deeper sounds to it. I have not calculated how many more miles I am getting per gallon now because for the first week I been sinking my foot on the gas pedal. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for performance, looks and also gas efficiency. I am looking into the airaid spacer as well maybe later but for now, I am a happy and satisfied customer with this product."

"I installed my system in about 30 minutes and my truck seems to run a little quieter, despite the cat-back exhaust system. The only glitch I had was that my truck had different socket wrench sizes than those listed on the installation sheet, but that was quickly resolved. I do anticipate better gas mileage but haven't had a chance yet to check it out."

"I have gone through several tanks of gas so far and I have not noticed any increase in fuel mileage but have noticed the difference in the low end on take off from a stop and the shifting of the trans is a bit smoother, if that's believable,or I'm just looking for some other improvement to justify the cost. I do hope the fuel mileage will increase to off set the cost soon."

"I can't say how much power the Airaid added by itself, because I installed the Airaid intake system, a power control module, a throttle body spacer & throttle body all at the same time. However, this little V6 pony can really gittyup & go now. It doesn't have the low end torque of a V8, but the mid range & top end speed has increased significantly. I'll definitely recommend the Airaid intake system."
