    Description

Some air intakes offer real performance gains. Others are all hot air. Count the Airaid Jr. Air Intake Kit among those that work right, sending the coolest air directly to your engine for better combustion, horsepower gains you can feel, and even better MPGs.

Instead of rushing huge volumes of hot air from the engine compartment into you manifold, the Airaid Jr. Air Intake Kit keeps the sealed factory airbox that’s designed to keep heat out. To boost flow, the Airaid Jr. replaces the stuffy factory filter with a high-flow Airaid cotton-gauze filter. Then, the restrictive stock intake tract is subbed-out for a custom high-flow Airaid Intake Tube. The result: more air, faster flow and performance without the heat.

What’s even better, the Airaid Jr. Air Intake System installs in less than 30 minutes. In fact, a couple of screwdrivers is all most vehicles will need—no modifications, no hassles. And, your Airaid Jr. Air Intake Kit is covered by a Lifetime Warranty.

Our 80+ Airaid Jr. Kits customer reviews have an average rating of 4.50 out of 5 stars. To see specific reviews about your vehicle, please select your year, make and model from the drop down above.

Thanks to the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act: US Code – Title 15, Chapter 50, Sections 2301-2312, your vehicle’s factory warranty is protected by law when you add aftermarket parts.  Details

Let me start off my saying this is a really nice piece and it moves a lot of air but for how I use my truck it's kind of a waste. I imagine that this intake and full exhaust, headers and all,you could see significant power gains. It just seems to me that I lost a little throttle response after I installed the intake tube and am half tempted to reinstall the stock intake tube.i saw the biggest gains running just the cone filter that comes with the kit, believe it or not. Upwards of 22 mpg's.

Put this on a 2013 6.2L Sierra. Noticed some improvement, but not quite the response everyone else seemed to have. Still waiting on a conclusion for MPG increase.

Quality of the filter and intake itself is unmatched. The improved airflow as allowed the engine to breathe like it should and as a result, it now sounds like a V8 should! Autoanything prices can't be beat!

I put this in a 03 Ram 2500 with a Cummins. I couldn't tell much difference in power and haven't had it long enough to see mpg gains. You can the turbo whistle a little, but not bad at all.

I've noticed a slight increase in power and noise, not sure about MPGs yet. It was extremely tough to get the tube to fit into the rubber piece that goes on the throttle body. Not as easy as the directions made it out to be!! Took so much longer than it should have.

The install was very simple, took about 30minutes to install. The plastic grommet for the breather hose requires a little more pressure to get started in. Overall I can tell that the engine is more responsive now. Its now as loud as the Volant or AFE products that I have used in the past. After installing the superchips performance tune, its whole new vehicle. Thanks Autoanything, now just waiting on the Corsa Exhaust to get here to complete the package on my Denali.

Hello. No, you shouldn't need a throttle body spacer for your new intake. That is simply an 'add-on' that some people purchase separately. Thank you for your question.

let me tell u guys...this really works.....so I bought a 2003 subriabn 1500 2wd 245,000 off my ant...yes lots of miles but runs like new...I did a full tune up, oil change, transmission flush, differential flush , spark plugs, and spark wires...I also bought a flow master for it...before the intake with a stock k&n filter I was getting drinking 65 19-20 mpg which was good cause stock says 14 city and 18 highway...after I install the jr kit plus I clean the throttle body ( I bought a spray for 4 bucks at auto zone) its now says 22-23 mpg driving 65 =D....anybody who wants more power get it and also if I want more mpg get it..of course u need to drive good or ur mpg will go down but drying week to work I drive normal to get them mpg cause I drive about 30 round trip and on weekends I show off all the power =D

    Air intake

I need room to mount a "Viar" aftermarket air compressor in the location where the stock air filter was located. I need an air filter system that will allow room for this and can you tell me the best option I have to complete this? Thank you
