"Nice looking, quality workmanship. Great fit with no problems on install. On the Tahoe, the only thing to watch for is the return radiator hose is directly under the tube and has to be pushed down a bit. I'm going to put a bit of insulation on the tube to help dampen the heat for the hose. Other than that, nice sound when you WOT. The stock air tube is HUGE. Glad to get rid of that ugly thing! I would recommend the Airaid intake tube."

"I use my truck to tow and the roar is so loud I may swap the stock tube back in. This was the last part I needed. I already had the Airaid cold air box and filter. Tubular Edelbrock Headers and a Magnaflow cat back exhaust. The roar is very loud on a grade with this intake tube and I could not notice any difference over the stock tube with regards to power. This was the least bang for the buck for what I have done. I also have it reprogrammed with a Hypertech tuner."

"Before I just had the stage 1 cold air intake and when I added the the intake to to finish it into a stage two, it brought my horsepower back alive in my truck. So sound is so much better than I thought it would be, but by adding the tube it helped me gain over 2 mpg. I love it."

"Yeah, I already had a K&N filter in the stock box when I bought the truck - an '06 GMC 1/2 ton with a 6.0 Liter engine. The stock intake just plain looked goofy with all that hangie-down plastic parts ( I guess for sound reduction. So I bought the Airaid intake tube only - It looks right. Nice gentile curves, the name is stamped on the piece and that's OK by me. No measurable sound increase or mpg increase - none was expected. When I pop open the hood, my eyes fall right on the Airraid first thing--- I like it. Installation? Well, if you can run a screwdriver you got it made. Simple. Both ends fit perfectly. Nice product. Also, I enjoyed working with Autoanything. Helpful over the phone. I felt good about buying the part sight unseen. I'll buy from them again."

"The Tahoe sounds more aggressive, has more low end torque, and my wife swears she is getting like 3 mpg better gas mileage. I think it was worth the money. This is like my 10th intake, and I am sold on the idea that the factory box is great, so all you who want a new setup just need a new filter and this tube! I can't imagine any setup being more efficient."

"Installation was fairly easy. Factory air tube was harder to remove than airaid was to put on. I still have stock filter but could tell a noticable difference in throttle responce, not a jaw dropping difference but noticable. Hard throttle gives a deep throaty sound. I plan to add a K&N or airaid replacement filter for added perfomance. Airaid MIT is a good place to start when adding performance upgrades."

"Now that I finally got to drive my 150 with my Airaid intake on it. It does make a difference in the performace of the truck. The F150 with the 4.6L is kind of slow and does'nt get up and go too well. You can feel the power now with it, and the deep intake sound it makes. It's not too hard to install, and only took me about 15 minutes to take out the stock unit and install the Airaid unit. I drove all the way to Las Vegas and back, and was getting about 20 miles to the gallon. That truck never got that kind of mileage before more like 16 MPG. Even going to and from work and driving around town I get about 16 MPG, I only got about 14 MPG before."

"I bought this intake tube for better MPG. And I GOT IT!! Gained about 1 to 1.5 MPG with this intake combined with my K&N Air Filter! Also added a nice whoosh sound under the hood, as well as a little bit of a tork increase! On a scale of 1 to 10 I give the AIRAID a 10. Great fit and finish, 5 min install, nice sound. What are you waiting for? Order one today!"
