"i bought this product for my 2008 chevy 5.3. a few questions during instillation but overall pretty simple. i like the look, and the sound is good too. i noticed better throttle response, a little better accelleration, and the rpms also drop faster between shifts. less lag, a little smoother. does what it says it will do. overall great product. i would recommend it. after all it is only $100, why not?"

"For the money ($100+) it is worth the buy. My fuel economy just around town went up by about 2mpg (when you are easy on the gas pedal) will get to test it out this weekend on a 140mi round trip. But throttle response is noticable and made the exhaust more throatier. I will be adding a flowmaster super 44 and an intake system but you can definately notice a difference with just this. I am pleased and would (and have) recommend this to anyone!!! My wife even noticed (without me saying anything) on the truck being more responsive and she told me (you must have bought something for it) and.... she was right..."

"I am very satisfied with my poweraid T.B.S. The instructioins were crystal clear with photos. I can turn a wrench, but im not by any means experienced working on cars. This was so easy to do. What it changed for me was the factory lag when i get on the gas. it just goes when you push, no lag peroid. Also the whistle noise on a scale from 1-10 mine is a 4, and only really whistles when im on the gas hard in low gears. I also have a Flowmaster 40 so its kinda hard to hear the whistle. all in all im very pleased. well worth my 1hundred dollars."

"I put this on my 4.3 and it helped my performance. I didn't notice any less seconds off my 0-60 time it's just that the rest of the traffic seems to be in slow motion. I don't have a turbo exhaust yet, all I have done is a re-program for fuel economy, and a K&N filter. I forgot about the mileage when I put this on. Too much fun!"

"I like this product a alot and was a good but. It took awhile to figure out how i was going to install it considering i had a kn cold air intake. I couldnt find bolts that were long enough and would be flush on the base plate of filter. After many different tries at the hardware stores i just purchase hex heads that were three and a half inches long. I then had to use a dremal to shave off some the the spots that were touching on the back plate. After that everything fit perfectly. I also had to buy a long sleeve to connect the two pipes together. I would suggest have a separate package that would include these bolts and some instructions. That would probably sell a lot to considering that a lot of people also get the cold air intake with the throttle body. Also to end this note the whistle sounds cool almost makes my truck sounds like a diesel which is cool. MPG improved 1 to 2 on the highway."

"I think it took me 15 minutes to install the Airiad Throttle body spacer on my 08' Taco.Although it may take longer if your installing with a stock intake. My truck has the AFE cold air intake from AA it was tight but did'nt have to cut anything and all you need for this type of install is a 10mm socket and wrench.There is definately much better throttle response out of the hole and at higher speeds.Gas milage is about the same but in my case my truck hauls around 1000 lbs of tools daily.I have the Airaid throttle body spacer,AFE Intake and Gibson cat back exhaust all from AA this is the perfect trio for extra bolt on H.P. and MPG.No cargo I average 20 mpg with a 6 speed manual not bad for a truck.If it whistles it's working,get used to it."

"I had previously installed a K&N airfilter, Gibson dual Exhaust and a hard Toneau cover. I bought this and installed it with new E3 spark Plugs My first fill up gave me almost 25mpg and my previous best has been 23mpg What I realy notice is the powerband is much smoother, and it has much more get up and go from a stop light"

"Definite throttle response upgrade, especially when combined with cold-air intake kit. Noticeable increase in power to the rear wheels and sounds great upon hard acceleration. It ads a definitive "snarl" to an normally sedate sounding motor."

"AirRaid spacer is the only spacer with a moderate whistle sound and i love it... Have it on both jeeps 6.1L and 4.7L both w/ k&n cold air intakes... As far as gas mileage about a 1 mpg gain, on my jeeps... performance gain is minimal... but makes the intake sound Racey!... And anyone worrying about the whistle being menaceing... it can not be heard inside the vehicle unless windows are down"

"This product is very easy to install, it took me 20 minutes and a few simple hand tools. I love the wistle that it makes when you are on the throttle. I also installed the air aid mxp intake kit and it makes a huge difference. I will recommend this to anyone that wants a little more kick in the gas pedal!"

"I have a 2009 Ram with the 5.7 hemi, and I installed this before going on a small road trip. In the city I get about 15.2mpg, and highway about 18.2mpg. The added power is noticable, as well as the torque gains. The whistle from the spacer is only audible when the transmission shifts, and it actually sounds pretty good. Sounds a lot like a turbo spooling up and blowing off."

"Really haven't noticed a power gain per say. You can here it working around 1800 to 200 rpm which is a good cruising speed at 60mph. Power was never really my purpose for buying. I'm more into getting the best gas mileage as possible."
