"I Like it alot but wish I would have got me better gas mileage only get about 1/2 of mile per gallon better then before but alot better throttle response and torque I love that part of it. Its worth the money"

"i got this for my 99 dodge dakota 4x4 with the 5.2 v8 it installed in mins and seemed to work fine until it took it to the sand dunes ... raising the TB was not letting the kick down button work even thought the cable was tight .. it ened up costing me a new ac condencer rad, fan and fan clutch cause i had to charge teh hill faster and had an accident with one and samshed in the front of my truck.. so all in all its not worth it .. didnt notice a power diffence or any more or less mpg .. save your moeny and get a chip ..."

"I bought it for the HP which is great you don't feel it at first but the mid range power is there. After first gear it takes off I do have low gears.. but I have shaved off one whole second. MPG great gained about 2-3 extra."

"Bought the PowerAid. Very easy to install. Make sure you have the tools needed as listed in the instructions. Noticed more power immediately and gas mileage increased from 15.1 mpg to 15.3 mpg. Extremely fast delivery. Thanks!"

Noticable Torque in the Seat of Your Pants

"At first I was skeptical of any claims made about increaseing performance by simply bolting into place a piece of metal. As the advertisment says in as little as 30 minutes youcan feel the increase in torque. I my case it took less than 20 minutes to install. I can now cruise down the freeway at 55 MPH and turn about 200 RPM less. Off the line I have to keep my foot out of it or risk "Excessive Wheel Spin". Acceration is firm and positive at lower RPM and is carried up into upper mid range without any adverse effects. Overall I belive that in time I should see a 1-2 MPG increase compared to the standard range for my vehicle. Money Well Worth Spent"

Whistle Worry

"Already had the Airaid intake for my '05 F150 so this was the natural next course of action. The Poweraid was a breeze to install and I could feel the slight power increase immediately. The whistle I'm not crazy about and I worry the dog might have issues with the pitch (rides in cab), but that's the way it goes. I didn't recieve "gaskets" such as those I see with the picture, but instructions didn't call out for them. Thanks for the cool product and I recommend it for all."

"The PowerAid is not what was expected. I have not noticed any increase in fuel mileage. The whistle is very annoying. I would take it off the vehicle, but it was such a pain to install, I'm going to leave it for now. I did notice some mid range power improvement."

"We have made several purchases to help increase the gas mileage on our 2000 Expedition, and non have worked....We have had the PowerAid for 2 weeks, and the gas mileage has already improved by 1.1 miles per gallon, and it keeps going up...we are going to put one on the rest of our cars, and tell everyone we know,it's wonderful to have found a product that does what it states.... "After installing power aid I have much better mid range throttle control.Where I would have to down shift in 25 to 45 mph traffic I can stay in fourth gear all the time Just press the pedal and go. Interstate driving is great plenty of power.I have a Mazda 4 cyl pick up. But it looks like have only achieved an extra 1 mpg. I was expecting 3-4. May be unrealistic on my part"

very fast Z71 part 2

"The airaid poweraid is very simple to install and I believe made a difference in the performance of my 97 GMC Z71. I already have a airaid intake system and this just completes the package. I do now however have a problem with hood clearance and my elbow hose for my PCV valve is now to short and my trottle cables are rubbing on one of my A/C lines. I wish airaid would have let me know about these possible problems."

"I own a 1995 Jeep YJ 4 Cyl which had always been a little well slow and never seemed to take in the rigth amount of air for the amount of fule. Once the PowerAid spacer was instaled i could feel a diff the low end power was there the car did not stuter or any thing i coudl not belive it. it was awsome i cnat even find a word that could begain to say how happy i was with the product."

"I recently purchased the Poweraid tbs and installed it on my 01 Ram with the 5.9L along with the Airaid cold air intake and man you can really hear it sucking in the air. Havn't checked mpg's but the throttle response and power is great. I would recommend both products together."

"The product is well made and nicely finished. Instant power boost at low RPM. Don't hear the whine that other reviewers talked about, even at full throttle. Haven't been able to guage if there is an increase in mileage. May need to stay off the throttle."

"Just returned from a road trip covering about 2500 miles. Gas prices are scarey!! I installed an after market factory air cleaner (fits the factory housing) and the PowerAid. Before the installation I got about 14 - 14.5 MPG, now I am consistant at 17.5 to 18 with or without the air at 75 MPH and better. Noticable increase in midrange power too. I don't hear the 'whistle' too much - maybe I'm going too fast!! Probably going to buy one for the wifes car, and my son's truck. It saved me a bunch of bucks on this trip!! it took all of about 15 minutes to install!! Worthwhile product."
