Description

Put a new twist on your air intake and watch your power, torque and fuel economy spin to new heights of performance. The Airaid PowerAid Throttle Body Spacer is custom-made to bolt-on to your vehicle in less than an hour.

The secret to the throttle body spacer is its dyno-proven Helix bore. The Helix bore creates high-velocity spin on the incoming air. This "tornado" mixes with the fuel and sends a superior atomized mixture all the way into the combustion chamber. The result: the PowerAid Throttle Body Spacer gives your engine low-end punch and better mileage.

The PowerAid Throttle Body Spacer is machined from aircraft-grade aluminum for durability. Airaid includes all installation hardware and a 30-day "No Hassle" manufacturer warranty with the PowerAid Throttle Body Spacer.

Notes

  • The Airaid PowerAid Throttle Body Spacer works with the stock intake only. Not guaranteed to fit with any performance air intake.

"I drive a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 with the 360 5.9l V8. newer body style. They were easy to install and i can tell a difference. They do not work with the air intake that i got for my dodge. I got the volont and it did not fit. it brought the throttle body up to high with mass air flow sensor and the air intake did not fit on top."

2 of 2 people found the following review helpful.

"At first I honestly didn't notice a difference. I did feel a little bit on the highway when passing, it accellerated a little faster but it was hardly noticable. However, after I installed a K&N FIPK 2 the PowerAid really made a lot more noise and I could definately feel a little extra boost in power. I am very satisfied. Would buy again."

"BIG DIFFERENCE! MORE POWER, SUPPOSE TO GET MORE GAS MILEAGE BUT I CANT KEEP MY FOOT OFF THE GAS? IF YOU HAVE THE AIRAID COLD AIR INTAKE, ALL YOU NEED IS THE SPACER AND 4 BOLTS. USE THE OTHERS FROM THE INTAKE AND DONT USE THE 4 LITTLE SPACERS. IT WILL SIT PERFECT ON THE THROTTLE BODY WITHOUT THEM. CLEAN AREA FIRST,DONT FORGET RUBBER SEAL! IM RUNNING MAGNA FLOW EXHAUST ALSO AND SUPERCHIPS FLASHPAQ PROGRAMMER.I JUST WISH IT WAS SUPER CRAZY LOUD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!SOUNDS LIKE A MINI TURBO,I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!DONT FORGET THE 91 OCTANE FUEL.WHISTLE!!WHISTLE!!"

"I bought the Airraid Powerradid throttle body spacer to get more mileage per galon, and guess what, from 210 miles per tank to 240. Excelent response in power and torque. Great buy. I didn't put the 5 stars b/c I don't like the whistle, but what the heck 240 miles per tank!!!!"

More power with less gas

Posted on 11/20/2007 by Jonathon K. - 1995 Ford F150 (Silverthorne,CO)

"I bought this product for my 1995 F-150. I already had a K&N intake and this seemed like a good addition. After a very easy installation I tested my trunk on a interstate hill with a grade of 7%. I noticed an increase of power. The biggest pro of this product is that it delivers the lows end torque that it promises. I can now back off the pedal a little bit more and still accelerate as fast."

"I have a 98 Ford Exedition with 9" of lift and 37" tires. I have done several things to it to include the Fram Boost Cool Air Intake, Edge Performance Chip, Flowmaster Exhaust, and much more... When I put the Airaid throttle body spacer on I really noticed a difference in the mid-range power and yes I have noticed an increase in mileage. And with 37" tires any increase in mileage is great!!! The sound the whistle makes isn't as loud or as annoying as I thought it was going to be. I kinda wish it was a little louder whistle. But awesome product. Highly recommended!!!"

"I installed this with high expectations only to get disappointed. I had no better fuel milage, a slight bite difference in power not egough for the money. i was expecting a whistle noise (it is stated that way you know it is working) no noise.disappointing for this highly addvertised bolt on eqipment I went on a 700 mile trip as a mileage test and seen no difference (a trip i normally take) disappointed in this set for this vehicle"
