"i installed this throttle spacer in about 15 min. very easy. i already have a k&n air intake installed, so with this added, there is a definate notice in a power gain. gas milage has improved about 3 mpg. the only downside to this product is the whistle it produces, other that, its great."

"Added the poweraid TBS to the airaid intake. The intake provided a much more noticable power gain, however I think the TBS helped tremendously with MPG. gained about 1-3 in city and 3-4 on highway... Great investment and I like the slight whistle!"

"I have run one tank of gas through and it upped the mileage about 0.5 mpg for my H2. I am trying a tank of premium gas now to see if that makes anymore difference. It does have a noise, whistle, whatever you want to call it that comes and goes as i press or let up on the accelerator. I don't pay any attention to it because i usually have the radio up high enough to block it out. hahaha"

"When I purchased this throttle body spacer I was a little sceptical about it. I conitplated on buying a K&N cold air intake. I talked to one of my friends who had purchased this item for his Chevy Silverado and also put in a K&N air filter and he said save yourself about a $100. So I did. I had previously had a cold air intake on another Silverado that made a big difference on the top end power. Once I had put this spacer with the filter I could instantly tell a difference of the top end power! Even a little more than the inake! I was sure glad I listened. Not only was I satisfied with the spacer but this item also saved me about $100. I definetly recommend for anyone to go this route. Yeah, the engine compartment doesn't look as clean when you put the cold air intake, but when you save money and get the same results if not better. Who cares!! Besides who really looks under the hood anyways but yourself when your wiping your truck down to get it ready for the weekend on Friday night! Also, you have that extra money to spend on other accessories at autoanything.com"

"I thought the installation was relatively easy on my Dodge Hemi, but I do have the right tools and some experience. For the novice, I can see how the terminology could be somewhat confusing (airbox vs air filter box). I enjoy the sound and feel, but since I also installed the airaid cold air intake system...I am not sure which product makes the most difference. I do notice additional power, sound and I am showing about 1-1/2 mpg better gas mileage - that is when I keep my foot out of it."

"I have a 2006 Dodge Dakota SLT Quad Cab V8 HO w/ Sebring Tuning dual exhaust w/ K&N 77 Series Air Intake and my exhaust was nice at first but ever since I installed the Airaid Poweraid TBS my exhaust is alot deeper at idle now and I can feel the difference in pickup and hp, but with gas mileage I can't tell because my new air intake gives me false readings, so idk if my gas mileage is any better, but I'd probably have to say so. I recommend this product to anyone that wants that little extra something!!!!!"

2006 H3 install was a breeze..BN06 in Jersey
Posted on 05/14/2007 by Rashawn L. - 2006 Hummer H3 (Sicklerville,NJ)
1 of 1 people found the following review helpful.
"Having now had the Airaid PowerAid in over a full week, I can now see what the hype is all about and put to rest all the rumors. This device works plain and simple!! The Airaid TBS not only increased the MidLevel power\torque on my 2006 H3 but increased my mpg by at least 2.5 per gallon. With the price of gas...this right here was the primary objective. Note: The H3 has what is called the Stabli Track sensing mechanism and therefore somewhat regulates the slipping\spinning of all tires upon under initial acceleration. Well..for the 1st time ever, I actually pressed firmly on the gas pedal and this device indicator lit up!! Mind you this was on a dry asphalt on a All-Wheel drive vehicle! Installation was simple lasting almost 35 minutes (This was due to making sure no hoses leading into the upper manifold came lose or dislodge and that the supplied screws were firmly affixed to the Throttle Bottle). There was no noticeable whistling effect(if any at all-possibly due to the H3 having a sealed engine). Driving primarily highway roadways Mon-Fri. and getting roughly 300 miles per tank, I now get roughly 350 miles per tank and the H3 runs so smooth at the higher speeds. I also tow a small bass boat and the extra torque is fantastic! Highly recommend for all Hummer owners and those looking at maximizing there current setup. BTW.. I had a K&N air filter installed prior and the two together is Awesome baby with a capital "A". For all the naysayers out there, keep sleeping on this device. For the true believers, I've always said the proof is in the pudding. I have spoken! BigNasty06 in Jersey!!"
