The secret to the throttle body spacer is its dyno-proven Helix bore. The Helix bore creates high-velocity spin on the incoming air. Very easy install. All parts were there. Haven't had it long enough to say anything about increase in MPG. Love the sound of it. Only a minor whistle on my truck when accelerating quickly.

Have seen a major increase on Fuel mileage and notice a little bit more torque. I have 01 f150 4.6 and it has been the best aftermarket add-on for the price. It has helped with towing.

Simple to bolt on. Took about 15 minutes. Notices right a way the throttle response and within my next full tank of gas the the better mileage I was getting with this upgrade. Great product. Does exactly what is stated. I want to install one in all my rides.

EASY to install. Would be 5 Star overall if torque value on instruction sheet as well as size of socket required for replacement bolts, were given. Otherwise, clear, easy-to-follow directions with adequate photos. Too soon to evaluate fuel economy improvement; however, I can feel an increase in acceleration at low speeds. Thanks for a quality, Made in USA product.

After over a month of driving I have had no increase in mileage at all. There is no noticable power increase at all. It does add a little color to an otherwise dull engine compartment but that is about all this product has done. My advice is save your money...

As always with Autoanything ordering and shipping was a breeze. As for the TBS itself I did notice a little better throttle response. The sound is cool and you don't always hear it. Overall a good purchase.

Excellent quality of material, but not sold on performance gains. I have a previously installed Bully dog tuner and K&N filter already in my vehicle. I installed the spacer and have seen NO noticeable hp or mileage gains. All we have noticed is the "whistle".

Didn't see any power gains or mpg improvements. Took it of immediately because of the very loud , high pitch noise it makes. Also now I can't return it because it has been "used". Now I'm out $130

Hi, I would worry about you intake not fitting after installing the spacer. Keep in mind that everything before the spacer will move a inch or so, which can cause major fitment issues. Expect bolt holes not to line up anymore and those carefully designed intake curves no longer matching the tight spaces they're designed to fit in.

Hi Darryl, Figuring that the throttle body spacer is going to move everything attached to it out of position, it's hard to tell for sure. If you have flexibility it the tube, you might be able to articulate it into position. Otherwise, some modifications will be required.

exhaust will also help with letting the air out which makes your car breath much better and your get better mpg horses and torque another thing is a programmer not a performance chip. a programmer can help you on mpg towing performance or stock you can do a lot even check diagnosis for your car

Hello. Very few intakes do accommodate a throttle body spacer. Intakes like AEM, Airaid, and AFE do have the option for a throttle body spacer. I bought the throttle body spacer for my 2009 Silverado 4X4 1500 5.3L and I also bought the mass air flow sensor, both items were install the same day. the truck is heating up and the RPMs are up to 3000. any body have an idea why?

I had this on a 2004 silverado 1500 with a K&N intake. Not sure of the exact model number. To make everything fit well I had to grind away some of the fan guard/shroud. Not a hard thing just was a tight fit.

1. airaid is more popular and has no hassle returns. 2. they are both constructed the same way, but airaid is cheaper, i would say they would both have the same performance, combine one of these with a performance cold air intake to see big improvements ;)

Hi Andrew, According to the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act, a vehicle manufacturer cannot void the warranty of your vehicle due to an aftermarket part unless they can prove that the aftermarket part was the cause or contributed to the failure of the vehicle (15 U.S.C. 2302(C)). I wouldn't even try it generally throttle body spacers are designed for gas gusling truck engines, I would say if you were able to get it on it would hurt your fuel economy.
