"This is a very good intake kit, fit into my tundra very well, no hassle. The directions were a little shaky but for the most part it was easy to install by myself. took about an hour. sounds like a really loud vacuum going up hills or when the engine is under load. looks shiny and neat. overall love it"

"Installation on my 08 tundra was pretty easy. It took about an hour. Putting the rubber piece on the heat shield was a little difficult but everything else went in smoothly. There is a little whistling at low rpms but not bad. I could tell an increase in power right away but no increase in mpg yet. I would recommend this product to anyone looking at cold air intakes."

"I bought this intake after waiting for a model to be available for an '07 4.6 Ford. It was worth the wait.
Great improvement of power. I am sure there will be mpg
improvement when I keep my foot out it.
READ INSTRUCTIONS COMPLETELY BEFORE STARTING.
They are not correct but you will make sense of them if
you are familiar where all goes."

"Putting the intake on was easy took about an hour and a half for me and I'm 16 and don't know a whole lot about motors, you don't even need the directions. I've noticed an increase in throttle response and mpg (if i could keep my foot out of it) engine noise is amazing right around 3k RPM's. i would recommend to everyone."

"Installation was exceptionally simple, unscrew this, slide this on, screw it together. If I could make a suggestion, assemble as much of the new filter housing as you can before you start ripping out the stock intake this way you arent standing at your engine putting the new intake together with a bunch of screws laying around. Overall a great upgrade, definitely increases engine pick up power at low and high speeds, very loud at 3 to 4k RPMs."

"Everything I have always expected from K&N product, I wish the price would come down just a little lower so that more people could be able to enjoy the product. The installation was pretty simple, my truck running great I could almost hear the cold air intake such the air in. I couldn't tell if my truck is getting better mpg, as matter of fact I feel like my mpg is somewhat going down, could be just operator...Would I buy the product again?... of course I also have the K&N cold air intake system in my RSX type S. Love the product!"

"Due to the price, I held off buying the unit for about 12 months. I have now purchased and installed it on my 2007 Tahoe and have already seen an increase in mileage of 2 MPG. The unit looks great and was really easy to install. I took my time and completed it in about 45 minutes. It will pay for itself and it certainly seems to have added HP as well. Great decision to purchase."

"The intake itself takes 10 minutes to install. The removal of the stock air box was a hassle and took almost an hour and a half to get it out. It took about 30 minutes to get the new heat shield in and it fits pretty snug. On thing I suggest is long, deep dish metric ratchets for this assembly."

"I wouldnt pay full price for this cold air intake, but hoped it would be a little better quaility. The instalation papers were a little hard to follow ie put bolt through flange with parts pictured below, then you get a 1"x1" picture of the part together. Kinda hard to make sure your using the correct lengh of bolt and the correct washers. Over it's a good product with almost a 1mpg gain."

"I recieved the kit within 72 hours. I installed it in a half an hour with a screwdriver and a single wrench in a parking lot while I was waiting. It is that simple. Instant improvement in throttle response, and slight increase in gas mileage. Looks sharp in the engine bay replacing the bulky stock pieces. Honestly can recommend it to anyone."

"The K&N intake kit took about an hour to install. There were two minor slow downs. First is Ford's fault, the lower section of the air box was a bear to remove due to the grommets holding the box in place. Second slow down was stretching the adapter over the throttle body intake. The installation instructions were concise and accurate and all the parts line up just fine. The intake sounds are cool. Excellent product."

"The installation was realitively easy as far as the wrench pulling. The only part that could have been made easier would be if the gasket/seal was already placed on the heat sheild. I have only driven for about 200 miles as of this date. Sure gives motor strong sound and snappy response.Cant tell if my mileage has changed yet."

"Installed in about 2 hours--drilling hole for air pump connection took some time. Drove to Dallas an hour later and averaged nearly 20 mpg, speeds between 75 and 85 mph. Already see the benefit of increased airflow. Next trip is to Arizona and will see what long distance savings are possible."

"I have never purchased an intake kit before, but I did a lot of research before doing so and came to the conclusion that K&N made the best cold air intake for the quality and value. It took right at 90 minutes to install and not being of a mechanical mind it went smoothly. I am impressed at the increased performance of my truck as well as the more resonant tone that can be heard in the cab when accelerating. I am incredibly impressed with this product and will recommend it to anyone who is looking to purchase a quality cold air intake for their vehicle. I will also recommend AutoAnything every opportunity I get. Thank you for making my transaction simple and efficient."

"I did the install on my 05 Tundra. It took about an hour. The first thing I noticed was the sound. The truck has a deeper sound when on demand. At first I noticed a high pitch whistle sound but that went away after 5 miles of so. The power really comes out at the high rpm band. And I have noticed less lag at the start. I also installed a throttle body spacer at the same time. My results may be compounded."
