"I installed the kit in 1 hour and was very pleased with the looks and the performance. It's hard to say if my mileage has improved because it's difficult to avoid hitting the throttle!"

2005 Expedition, K&N Intake Kit

"Recieved the K&N intake kit from AutoAnything. Everything was there and the instructions were clear. There were some differences between the text instruction and my vehicle. There was nothing there that prevented me from completing the install. However, during certain points in the install the instruction became guidelines rather than the law. I was impressed by the overall fit of the kit. Everything matched up well and I was able to complete the install in about an hour. The only thing that slowed me down was the purchase of a drill bit to accomodate the brake booster on my vehicle. I have had the air intake on about a week. I haven't been able to measure the gas mileage, but the performance is noticeable and the sound is great. Next step is to install a Gibson Cat-Back system. I will be measuring the fuel economy after that install."

"Easy install, Great directions that are easy to follow. This baby really brings in the air for an added response that is very noticeable. I also added a Flowmaster exhaust and the pulling power is great."

"Took 1 hr. for my 8 year old son and I to install. Sounds great when you lean into the pedal. It's been in for 1 week and already seeing small MPG increase. Worth the $$$."

"Looks great, but I highly doubt the performance results that are advertised. I did notice an extra mile to the gallon though, so I suppose it's worth it. Putting the rubber seal on the heat shield is a pain, I just cut it to make it easier."

"i have a 2002 dodge ram 1500, with a 4.7 magnum v8. ever since i put the intake on my truck the sound out of my flowmasters has gotten deeper, but in a good way. it hasnt done much for gas mileage but it has given me alot better take off and it sounds great!"

"Shipping took 4-5 business days. Installations was easy except for having to drill a hole in the tube(per instructions), directions are not real clear, but not a big deal even for someone with limited automotive experience. Sounds great, improved response, good combo with my 40 series flowmaster exhaust."

"Easy install could use more details on instructions. At idle and under normal acceleration sounds stock, put your foot on it and it sounds like a racing motor, awesome sound. mileage is up slightly, noticeble acceleration differance."

"Autoanything was great to deal with. I didn't notice too much increase in power or fuel efficiency but it is a 3/4 ton truck so I guess it's hard to tell a small gain of horse power. Will definately do business with autoanything again."

"I have a 2005 Chevy 2500HD with the 6.0 and the Cold air intake put together with a Flowmaster exhaust is best thing ever. The throttle responce has increased a large amount and gives the truck a real added roar with the exhaust. Excellant product, and very easy to bolt in, it took 20-30 minutes."

"I think this product is outstanding. I had dual exhaust already and was looking for a little something extra for some noise and this did the trick. installation wasnt hard at all. the bolts and nuts they want you to remove for the fender are a little hard to find if you dont know where to look. other than that it was easy for me and i am not that mechanically inclined."

"The removal and installation took me about 3 hrs with on trip the Auto - parts store. Total work time was about 2 hours. The real problem was the removal or at least the housing unit for the old air filter. The one part this kit did not cover for me were the small tubes coming from the back of the engine. They were shown in the picture as soft tubes, however the tubes in my vehicle were hard plastic molded around the fittings. Sooo i ended up breaking the T-joint and had to purchase another as well as rig a connection from that point to the new air-intake. I actually had to cannibalize one of the hard tubes to get the connection to work. At this point in time i have only driven about 500 miles. I did not really hear a difference until i stomped in the gas. I am looking forward to my next trip to see the highway gas mileage. By the way this unit does give you back a lot of room in the engine area."

"I honestly bought this because I heard about the increased MPG, but what I noticed right up front was the crisper throttle response and a smoother acceleration. I hope to gain a few MPG also as time goes by."
