"I bought this intake for my 2006 King Ranch F-150 after much research, decided to go with the K&N-77 for the look and the performance, and i'm quite pleased with both. I like the added power and the deep sound when you hit the gas. When i can stay off the gas, i get better gas mileage about 1-2mpg."

"Great product though it should come pre-drilled for the vent resonator if the model you select it for has the piece. Other than having to drill and smooth out a 1-3/8ths hole it was a simple process. It sounds great, and gives it more HP. Installation pictures are aweful, they might as well be in braille."

This CAI Roars!!!

"Love the way this CAI makes my 04 Envoy sound. Roars now (relatively speaking). Install was a little more complex than I'd like but not terrible. Had to drill a 1 1/4 inch hole for the air injection but all in all install was clean and easy. I had all the installation parts I needed in the kit. Extremely happy with my purchase and the K&N 77's performance so far."

"I put the intake on my truck and it made a world of difference. Cant notice change in gas mileage cuz i keep my foot in it. It was easy to install in about 45 minutes. Overall great product."

"Increased my mileage by +2.0mile/gal going long distance. (19mi/gal to 21.5mi/gal) I didn't notice a major power change other than acceleration at high rpm's. I'm glad to have purchased this intake."

Awesome sound

"Though I was shorted some parts for the mounting hardware, and finally removed whatever was sucked into one of my cylinders during first test drive, the intake makes my truck sound and run awesome. I also have a Superchips programmer which combined with the intake has seriously improved my trucks power. The installation was very easy, only took about 45 minutes. I haven't ran the truck long enough for mileage comparison. Other than having to go and buy extra mounting nuts, I would suggest this product to other Dodge truck owners if they are looking for more power."

"It was easy to install. The hardest part was removing the stock system. One of the best things about it that you will notice is when accelerating you hear it. Sounds great! More Power! Didn't notice the extra milage but I don't care its worth it (due to my foot going to the floor after every light)!"

"I installed this kit on my 5.4L, 99' Lincoln Navigator. I immediately noticed an improvement in my gas mileage...approximaely 2-3mpg better. I also noticed better performance with towing...the engine breathes better and sounds GREAT TOO.!!"

Happy and easy

"I found installing the unit very easy. My friend (our mechanic) helped me install it in about an hour. He had just installed one on his truck. The hardest part was getting the rubber trim to go on. We ended up cutting "v's" at the bends. I will see how well the unit works when we haul our horse trailer."

"Installed the kit in less than 30 minutes in spite of less than perfect directions. The acceleration performance is better, however with a dramatic under the hood noise increase. Top end rev, 4000-5500rpm, is much improved."

"I will have to say that it sounds and runs great when starting out but from 2nd to 3rd it seems to blog down quite a bit. I am hoping that when i get the new analyzer it will be able to take care of this problem. All and all I would have to say i am happy but hope to take care of the 2nd to 3rd problem. Very easy to install and looks great. I hate the orange and red colors of K&N and wishe they would change them to Blue and slate or grey and slate so that it would go with any car but I am not in Marketing at K&N. Also shange the filter to grey instead of red tints and it would be great."
