"i installed it on my 2007 dodge caliber rt one night when i was off duty and the only thing that would have made it go faster is if i had done it earlier it gets dark fast at night where im from the appearnce is amazing it sounds so good it was easy to put in it took about half an hour and the best thing is that its k&n the performance is noticible and well worth it"

"I read all the reviews on this site for the K&N intake on before ordering, and decided to experiment with it for myself as the price was right. As noted in the reviews, the instructions could be a bit more clear but the install took only about 1.5 hours (a 2nd set of hands is helpful). I've gone through 2 tanks of gas with the new intake so far & I saw a 2.8MPG (Highway driving)improvement on the 1st one and 1.5 MPG (city driving)on the second one. There is a noticeable improvement in power as I can cruise at the same speed but at 300 less RPM. It also adds a throatier exhaust note. Whine from the Supercharger is more evident now when I stomp the pedal but I don't mind. I would recommend this product & just ordered a Gibson Cat Back system to complement the intake!"

"The K&N Intake Kit inproved my trucks performance. I have better throttle response and still measuring the fuel economy. It took less than an hour to install using the step by step instructions provided. I will recommend the K&N Intake Kit to my friends if they are looking for added performance to their vehicles. "The filter looks ok, would look better if it was crome though. There was some increse in performance but nothing to brag about. If you need some quick upgrade to your P-71 then get one, it will make the car atleast look cool."

"I was really impressed with the increase in performance after adding the K&N unit. The motor breathes easier and has a more deep throaty sound. I have not checked the mileage yet to see if it has improved, because I can not keep my foot out of the gas. Installation took less than an hour, and the instructions were very clear and detailed. Thanks K&N for a great product. Jim"

"i got my intake with in two days that same day i installed it.. really easy got it running and raced it. i love the sound when i floured it to 6000rpms i like the little whitle it makes when crusin saves gas and increases HP raced honda si 06 and rsxs05 and beat them"

"I didn't pay attention to the online listing. After it was installed,(very easy) I noticed that the intake is not street legal. You probably shouldn't show up at the dealer for warranty service with it installed and it won't pass smog tests in California, so save the stock stuff. No improvement in mileage. Some performance gain but the intake is very loud. I can't handle the noise at full throttle so I rarely go there. Seems like it was not worth the time, effort and money."

"I put the intake on my 2002 Silverado extended cab and it makes a huge difference! You dont notice on days when its around 35 degrees but if its warm out you can hear the intake aggressively sucking in air and you notice the better fuel economy and it makes my straight pipes roar even louder! 1000% worth the money!"

"Installed on an '08 Mustang GT. Took 40 minutes from start to finish, the directions were very accurate and easy to follow. I can tell a slight advantage on low RPM power, but the midrange RPM's are where you tell feel it most...3000 and above. Made a big difference in the exhaust tone when you hammer it too. It's a lot throatier...new word!!"

"I have had the K&N SRI for my R18 civic for a few weeks now, and is has definitely been worth every penny. The installation was pretty straight forward, the hardest part being removal of the factory air box. The sound is a world of difference beyond 3k RPMS,(a deep, loud sound) and throttle response has increased slightly. It is a bit to early to tell if gas mileage has been changed significantly. Overall a great product, no CEL at all, and no issues with it. Autoanything processed and shipped the order in a very timely fashion, and the product arrived on time."

"Installed with instruction easily; seems to give my 2008 Nissan Titan more horse power but miles per gallon went down. At over 50 years old it really wasn't the hot roding I'm into but the fuel economy I wanted."

"Hi Purchased and installed the K&N airfilter. My gas mileage was reduced from 14 down to 12 miles per gallon, and it seems I have reduced power."

"The Air charger works great. The engine has a throatier sound and the car responds much better during acceleration. Haven't had a chance to see if the gas mileage improved but I really don't care, it was well worth the improvement in performance. My only suggestion is that the instructions need to updated to account for some minor engine changes in the later model s2000's."

"I felt that my Civic 07 was a bit low on performance and hence ordered this part after checking out many reviews. Pre Installation: The parts looked very high quality as such and the installation manual gave very good photographic examples to help you out. Installation: To be fair, I was installing something for the first time in my car and found it a bit time consuming, but otherwise, it's a breeze. I found the Filter clamp a bit too short and had to get a bigger one from a store. Post Installation: The throttle response is now excellent and there is a distinct engine grunt at about 2.5K+ RPM which is music to my ears. Overall, its a great product and I would definitely recommend it to any Civic 06+ owner. I haven't checked the mileage after installation, but the power increment is excellent!"
