"Easy install. The box says 90 minutes to install. I did it 45 minutes. Sounded real nice on heavy accel. until I put my new flowmaster in."

"It took about an hour to install and yes I did have some help from my friend. My MPG is a little better nothing to rave about. Acceleration is much better and the sound is great. Looks good under my hood too!"

"I can not believe how simple it is to install the K&N Metal intake on my 2004 Expedition. AND then when I stepped on the gas-WOW! What a difference in the performance immediately. I can't wait to see how the gas mileage will increase, if I can keep my foot out of the gas!"

Great Air Intake Kit!

"I replaced an Airaid intake with the K&N 77 and noticed results almost right away. The filter on the 77 is bigger than the filter of the Airaid and runs my truck at less rpm than the Airaid. The 77 also improved the sound of my Flowmaster exhaust. Great Intake!"

"Easy install.(30 min.) Very noticable increase in power. Late winter in northeast has not allowed me to get an accurate fuel mileage check. Would upgrade to five stars if it helped fuel economy. Sounds great,looks even better.Will buy another when needed."

"The installation instructions were 100% accurate. I installed a Flowmaster Catback, Poweraid Throttle Body Spacer and the K&N 77 Series. I've picked up better torque, mileage is up 2.5 mpg and the sound is perfect. That's a 15% gain. It will pay for itself in less than a year. AutoAnything made the whole process completely painless. Thanks!"

"I finally did it. It was not hard, just follow thru with the installation instruction. I only notice a little sound difference, but I do noticed the speed pickup is very fluid and faster than before. After 2 filled up, I notice about 1 mile increase on MPG. I am happy with this product and will do it again on my next truck. K&N, thanks."

"I bought the K&N 77 intake for my 2004 Tahoe.It was a really easy to install and took me a little over an hour.I can definetely tell the difference in throttle response and my truck doesn't die down after it shifts out of second like it use to it constaly grabs for more. I love the sound of this intake I can definetly tell the increase in air flow especially when I step on the gas. I recommend it to anyone whose seeking a quick way to add a few extra horses and it also cleans up the engine compartment really well. Can't really comment on the gas part yet and that's because I'm always on the gas."

"I love it. There is a definite improvement in throttle response and performance. It was relatively simple to install. The directions were very basic and easy to understand. The most difficult part was removing the stock air fliter housing out of the fender well. Well worth the money."

"Before I put the intake on, I had about 265 horsepower from the factory, after I put the intake on, I was rolling around 295 horsepower. The intake was well worth it, you'll notice it when you push it to the limit. So if you ain't got one go get it."

"The Installation of the K&N 77 was great. It toke about 45 minutes and the instructions were to the "T"! The amount of torque is a deffinate +!!! You can deffinetly feel the extra horse power the K&N 77 provides. I only have one problem w/it - My wife now likes the torque & horse power and she can not keep her foot off the pedal and she loves the sheer power increase that this has provided. If I can keep her foot off the pedal, I can monitor the gas mileage increase. Awesome Product!!!"

Noticeable difference

"I've installed K&N 77 Series intake on my 2003 Ford F-150 Supercrew Lariat. Right before I installed the intake the truck has experienced periods of rought idle, i.e. when the engine RPM would suddenly surge to 1.5 thousand at park position. At the same time I had the "Service Engine Soon" sign pop up. To make the long story short, I had to clean fuel system and injection valves and at the same time installed new air intake. The growl is nice. Acceleration is WAY better. So far - two thumbs up!"
