"The Installation of the K&N 77 was great. It toke about 45 minutes and the instructions were to the "T"! The amount of torque is a deffinate +!!! You can deffinetly feel the extra horse power the K&N 77 provides. I only have one problem w/it - My wife now likes the torque & horse power and she can not keep her foot off the pedal and she loves the sheer power increase that this has provided. If I can keep her foot off the pedal, I can monitor the gas mileage increase. Awesome Product!!!"

Noticeable difference

"I've installed K&N 77 Series intake on my 2003 Ford F-150 Supercrew Lariat. Right before I installed the intake the truck has experienced periods of rought idle, i.e. when the engine RPM would suddenly surge to 1.5 thousand at park position. At the same time I had the "Service Engine Soon" sign pop up. To make the long story short, I had to clean fuel system and injection valves and at the same time installed new air intake. The growl is nice. Acceleration is WAY better. So far - two thumbs up!"

"The sound is remarkable at full rpm range. The only thing is that when you are at around 2300 it seams to have a rattling noise but at 3000 it is pulling hard."

"worth every penny. noticable power gain but also installed a jet performance chip. probably lowered fuel economy, can't keep my foot out of it. truck sounds mean!!! took right at 90 minutes to install."

"the instalation was fairly easy.i had a little trouble getting the weather stripping on the filter box.recomend this be done at the factory.i noticed a increase in throttle response but have not seen a increase in fuel milage as i had hoped."

Nissan Titan easy to install

"The installatiomn was real easy. 1.5 hours start to finish. You can really notice the power difference. I really wanted this to improve gas mileage and even though I have not gone through the tank, it looks like it has improved. I'd say this was a great investment!"

"First of all, Autoanything was extremely easy to buy from and the delivery was fast. The kit came complete with all necessary hardware and only took me 45 minutes to install. I have already done the exhaust on my 2003 Tahoe, so this made the system a little more complete. The mileage has gone up and the response is much quicker!!! I highly recommend this for any vehicle!!!"

"I put this on my 2006 chevy pickup. It was easy to install with good instructions. Looks alot better than factory air box and has improved performance some. The paper that came with the kit said it makes 8 to 9 more horsepower with this intake system and I can tell a differance. To early to know about gas mileage improvements. Overall good product and I would buy another."

"I've had the product in my 05 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the 5.7 Hemi and it's great. It looks awesome and sounds really good. I've installed a jet chip with it so the power difference is combined with the chip and it moves out a lot quicker. I did order another brand, but was very happy that they didn't have it in stock. This is the second K&N cold air intake that I've purchased and it never let me down. Thanks K&N for an awesome product and AutoAnything for having it available!"

"The kit was complete and the installation only took about 30 minutes with everything fitting correctly. There is a noticeable increase in horsepower, and the mpg stayed about the same, although I'm sure it would show some increase if I drove slower."

"It only took about 45 minutes to install. And it cleans up the look of the engine alot.(takes all the ugly plastic off) Performance was pretty good and I did notice it being louder when you got on it.I think it looks, sounds, and functions pretty well."

"I have a very throaty dual exhaust so I really didn't notice any sound difference, but did feel the power difference when I stepped on the gas. Engine runs at about 200 rpm's lower at idle and at 50mph. I gained about 2mpg. I don't change my own oil and it took me less than an hour and 1/2. Definitely worth the money."

Low End Power...YES!

"This is simple...I installed the K&N 77 in a 2000, F150 Ford. The installation was easy...but the picture instructions could have been more detailed, to avoid confusion. It's the only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5. The low end exceleration was noticable from the very beginning. The higher torque excerleration was amazing. The low end is still the most amazing. The cruse for the truck used to take a lot of throttle to maintain 65...now it's just a breeze to hold road cursing speed at 70...very little throttle resistence. I would recommend it to anyone. The savings on filters alone is worth the price. AL California"
