"Since I have installed my intake I have noticed an improvement in performance. It's improved acceleration quite a bit and has extended my powerband. It also made my truck sound a little meaner."

"I was impressed with the extra power. It was noticeable. I have not seen any mpg gains, though. Installation was easy, but they shorted me a clamp. Looks way better than the stock outfit that the truck comes with. I won't be taking it off of my truck any time soon! I only gave it four stars because of the clamp that they shorted me."

"I really enjoy the K&N it sounds great and has added more horsepower. But my kit wasn't complete, I ended up having to go and purchase more nuts and bolts. Other than that i really like it but was a little disappointed"

Oh yeah - 99 Silverado 1500

"Installed the K&N 77 about a week ago. Took about one hour to install. Straight forward instructions. Looks good on the truck. Nice deep growling noise under the hood under heavy acceleration. Sounds normal under normal driving, which is perfect. I notice better acceleration and throttle response like most people say. There is seriously is a noticable difference. I can still tell after about 200 miles. Make sure to unplug the battery to force the computer to reset for the new part. Too soon to tell, on any MPG savings. I took out the stock air box plate on the bottom for more air flow. Keep an eye out for any mud, water that might reach the filter. So far so good. Wasn't in the instructions to take it out, but it made sense to me after installing the K&N to take it out if for maxiumum air flow. Can't wait to install my JBA and flowmaster exhaust to compliment the K&N!!!"

Easy installation

"The intake was easy to install with the correct dirctions. Product was sent with incorrect installation guide. Called the help line and was directed to K&N's site for proper guide. Easy down load. Would advise checking for all parts and paper work before getting started. Product has performed as stated, more power and better acceleration. Sound good too."

"Easy to install. Directions are concise. My truck is a lot louder now, sounds like a four barrel equipped small block instead of fuel injection. Power increase is noticeable, fuel mileage increase is marginal"

"I recently installed the 77 series Cold Air Intake kit on my 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. I am very pleased that someone finally lives up to all the hype! I have gained roughly 1.5 MPG on highway, .8 in city. Not sure about exact HP, but can definately notice a huge difference in power/acceleration when i kick down on it. Also, the sound is great!..very deep and mechanical, almost like a weak supercharger. Def. worth the price. -Russ"

"This intake is great! First off the FEDEX shipping was very quick. The intake came in great condition. Very easy instal. Instructions were very easy to follow. Overall the intake sounds great and I can feel a little more power then before. My MPG hasn't changed that much... seems like it is about the same. If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't do it any other way! AutoAnything.com is GREAT!"

"The intake system was easy to install and the hesitation I had on my 5.4L F-150 is gone! I put this on after I installed the 40 series flowmaster and now the engine is more responsive and the old sound like a 4 barrel carb kicking in is back."

"It's not quite the MPG increase I expected I get maybe 1 to 2 more MPG than I did before. Makes truck louder at about 3000 RPMs. At about 3500 you feel the boost of power. Over this is a good product for the money."

Grandcherokee louder

"There is no more lag around corners nothing, way more pick up and torque. It took about 45 mintues it took longes to take the factory air box out then install the K&N kit. Good product"
