"PLACED THE UNIT ON WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS ALONG WITH A HYPERTECH PROGRAMMER. DIRECTIONS ARE GOOD. BE CAREFUL WITH THE MAS WHEN INSTALLATION. NOTICED MORE POWEFUL AIR SUCTION BUT NOT BETTER GAS MILEAGE."

"The Kit fit great and was able to install it in 30 min. I noticed an immediate improvement in throttle response; I’ll be checking any mpg gains on my next full up. Great addition to my truck."

"I love this K&N intake i noticed some power gain but the milage is still up in the air. It looks great under the hood with the polished Alumiun look, it was also very easy to install about 30 mins."

"Great product! Instructions are surprisingly very good and easy to follow. Intake really wakes up the stock exhaust. More power in hauling which in turn has cut back in fuel (about 1 gal.) on the highway. In-town mileage has also improved about 1/2 gal. (when I'm not stomping on the pedal ;) and Yeah, it's got a Hemi!"

"I bought this truck slightly used and bone-stock. When I got the money saved up the first thing i bought was a K&N 77 series chromed out intake, and that was the best thing I've done so far! It unleashed the extra horses and man does that intake sound monsterous when I lay on the throttle. It has boosted power and lets everyone else know what I've got under the hood. Best bang for your buck without a doubt!"

Seems to work alright, but.....

"Installation was a breeze except that 2 of the stainless hose clamps galled when tightening and the replacements sent by K&N were not of the same type. The pipe has no support and I have problems with it coming off the intake manifold, so for that I will need to install the factory support if it will fit. So due to the issue of the pipe and the hose clamps, I'm not overly impressed with K&N's execution of this product and their consistency with parts is not good either. Except for the hose clamps (specifically the replacement hose clamps), it looks great."

"A little worried about dusty roads with all the open space under the hood now and the filter picking up dust. But the install was easy and the sound is better even with stock exhaust. Acceleration is faster now. Good clean looking setup."
