"My purchase with AutoAnything was great I had no problems at all. The K&N intake looks and sounds good, I have not had the chance to see if it saves on fuel yet. Installation was no problem. My only problem with the kit were the screws with the rubber attached to them. The screws themselves were of poor quality, three of them broke, now I have to go out and buy some screws and fix it.( No I did not over tighten them.) You would think after spending $325.00 the kit would come with quality screws. Other than that I am pleased with my K&N 77 metal series."

"Air intake goes in very easy, took me about an hour. Love the growl. Do not know on the mpg yet, but having an K&N before, I am anxious to see."

"Install was easy. Had to reuse some bolts since the bolts from the kit did not fit. Other than that install was a breeze. Can tell an immediate change in power."

"Nice Kit! Improved fuel mileage about 1 MPG if you can keep your foot out of it! The kit really breaths- The sound of the engine is much deeper and louder. Power is really up in the low RPMs. If you want to see a 6500 pound truck melt the tires of- all you have to do now is turn off traction control. Took less than 1 hour to install and very easy."

"My kit came in the mail fast,great looking and a breeze to install!!Don't even waste your time unplugging the mass airflow sensor--just unbolt it complete this way you won't take a chance on cracking the plastic plug housing and just screw to the new tube with the new hardware.You'll notice a difference right away --idle will be a bit smoother.Only took about 20 minutes to install."

"Excellent product all around. Had K&N air intakes on past vehicles, it's the only brand I buy. This one sounds a lot louder than I expected, but I like that. Very happy. Only problem area is installing the rubber gasket around the air box. Tough to put on and dosen't stay on the compound corners well."

"This intake looks great under the hood. I've been told it increases power but haven't been able to test it fully. It does help keep intake air cooler on a warmed up engine."

"The product was well machined and installation was a snap. The intake looks good and I would recommend this product to anyone. My Tundra was getting around 18 mpg and with the K&N it seems to be getting around 19.5 mpg. I think on long trips the mpg will be higher. I would highly recommend this product. Great job K&N!"

"Easy installation, looks great, great sound. Noticed a slight increase in power, but I've yet to see a MPG improvement though. I might need to cut back on the throttle a bit to notice an improvement. Overall, a good product."

"The quality of the kit is excellent,looks nice,it all fits very nicely. The gas mileage I get back and forth to work (city traiffic) has improved about one mpg,have not taken a highway trip yet, I am hoping for mpg increase there.Will let you know."

"I purchased a K&N 77 Intake for my 06 Chevy 1500 5.3L The intake tube was bent inward at the side that the intake connects to the throttle body. This was no minor bend it was bent bad and the tube was chromed AFTER the dent happened. Luckily I was able to unbend and make the orifice a perfect circle again while barely cracking the chrome. The gasket for the airbox frame also had to be cut to size and put on, which I thought should have been done for me already because its not like the airbox they supplied would change in size... Overall the intake does make a difference but that will be it for me purchasing K&N ever again after this."

"I don't know anything about cars or trucks but I know how to follow directions and that's all you need to install this intake kit. Took me 4 hours in the dark with the bugs biting but now my 08' Tacoma gets A LOT better gas mileage and definitly sounds meaner with the extra horses. I'd recommend this intake to anyone."
