"The installation was a breeze. Everything fit together almost perfecty, except the rubber guard around the heat shield, what a pain! My truck already had a gibson dual-sport exhaust, so adding the 77 series metal intake actually made my truck quieter; because the truck now idles lower - probably due to the enging having to make less effort. But I'm still happy with it, regardless!"

"The K&N 77 kit looks great on the truck. I am very pleased with the added throttle response. I added the Jet Power-flow TBI at the same time. Both were easy to install and with the instructions supplied by K&N you cannot go wrong."

2000 Ford Expedition

"Installed the intake and JET throttle body spacer at the same time; took about an hour and 4 beers!!! Acceleration improvement was great and the rumble was enough to turn heads but not overpowereing. As far as the milage, filled up right after I finished and I have about 130 miles on a quarter tank all in city miles so there is definately and improvement there. Only note on installation...dont forget to notch the rubber stripping when bending it around the edges."

Better throttle response

"I was very pleased with the increased throttle response when I put the pedal down. Before instalation of the intake kit there was always a lag between when I put the pedal down and engine response, now the engine comes alive when I punch the gas. The installation was easy and straight forward, however, pay attention to how your crank case line attaches to your cam cover; I found I didn't need the barbed fitting supplied in the kit in order to install the new hose, which actually makes connecting easier."

"Install was easy and detailed, only bad instruction was the bolts for the air box was under the plastic in the finder well. I you can wrench less than 20 minutes. Sounds SO SO good with 40 series flowmasters. With never go without one again. 2 mpg gain."

"this product is great, i have a chevy tahoe and i thought it had some power before but i felt like it was holding back a little. It was holding back so much more than you could belief. Since i put on the K&N intake i cant believe the power that it has. My zero to 60mph is much fast and the gas mileage is even getting better. I would recomend this K&N intake to anyone wanting to get more power out of their suv."

"Installed the K&N 77 series days ago,right away could tell it had a better take off(Horse Power). Just like the instructions said, my Yukon XL engine is slightly louder.Haven't had time to check the gas milage yet."

"got lots more power i put this in my new 2006 nissan titan sounds great lots more passing power i get about 21 mpg hwy now. but be sure to take it off to redeem warranty work. the dealer told me this will void some intake sensor part warranty."

"This thing is great! Received it on a Friday and within an hour had it installed. The directions were straightforward and the finished installation looks good. Left for a Florida trip on Saturday, and wow, what a difference. The throttle response and additional horsepower are definitely noticeable. To top it all off, my highway mileage went from 16 mpg to 18.4 mpg for a FORD EXPEDITION on a 2600 mile trip. That's a $60.00 gas savings for one trip! Excellent job K & N."

"Great intake system that looks, sounds, and feels cool! Installation could be much easier if parts were marked better and instructions were a bit clearer. Also, the air intake box replacement did not seem to match the contours of the right front fender well. But all in all a very well engineered kit that definitely improves performance and sound!"
