"I purchased this for my son's car. He has a 2005 Mazda 3, 5-speed hathback. Had it professionally installed so can't comment on the installation, but you can definetly tell a difference. You can actually hear it sucking in air, makes his exhaust sound deeper too!. Not sure about the gas mileage yet, but feels like it has more horse power especially between 2nd, 3rd & 4th gears."

Increased power and fuel efficiency

"I bought this because I busted the tabs on my stock air filter box ($150 from dealer) and I wanted to run a K&N filter anyway. It actually does increase power and I'm up a couple MPG's to boot. I didn't go with the cold setup and use it as a short intake due to Ohio's inclimate weather.."

"easy to install; hardest part was just taking off the factory hoses and such. looks great under the hood and you can really feel (and hear) the difference when you accelerate hard! awesome product"

"I have seen a significant increase in mid range power as well as torque. Not sure about getting better mpg and was hoping it was louder. Also the air raid throttle body spacer with this intake will not fit on a 01' Dodge Ram 1500 and possibly other vehicles so make sure to check first (had to use a hammer drill to make it fit). All in all great product."

"Great product, hardly any noice in the cab. You can tell the increase in power, but only one flaw. There's a gap in between the tube intake and the heat shield. The edge trim does not make a complete seal."

"Easy Installation. This intake really improves flow and you can feel the a more touchy accelerator. At, wide open throttle, its sounds like a beast under the hood. Also makes a great little hissing sound when it surges for air. Very satisfied customer here. -John from Los Angeles"

"my 2007 dodge 1500 hemi 4x4 was gettin about 14.5-15 mpg but after my quick and easy installation of my 63 series K&N cold air intake kit and filter along with my Magnaflow exhaust, im gettin about 16-17 mpg. it would be better if i could stop racin everybody on the road but the horsepower gain was excellent and i just want everybody else to see it!"

"the kn system was easy to install but must follow each section and take your time. nice fit and finish. Good power and computer is indicating a 1.2 avg improvement in mpg.Not truly validated at the pump at this time."

"Out of the 27 vehicles I've owned, I've either purchased a K&N filter or the whole intake kit for each one. I am now getting between 40 city -70 highway miles more per tank of gas. The power from these has always been remarkable for me.It would've been 5 stars, but a little loud."

"Was a little disappointed that the engine does not "roar" until 3,500 RPM. Does give a nice sound when you put your foot in it. I have seen an improvement in mileage of .50-1 MPG."

"The install went well and the quality was good. The engine compartment looks better with all that clutter crap removed.The car is smoother, more responsive. Way less noise at cruising speed than stock however you mash the gas and the intake sound is loud. I like it and my old dad liked it as well.Some of you old farts might not like the sound. Last but not least better fuel economy proably 5 mpg on highway.A Must have!"
