"I wasn't expecting much of a difference in the preformance of my 2002 Durango after I hooked the Air Intake up. Let me tell you I was dead wrong, it has pick up that I never thought would happen. It feels like a whole new engine, it is awesome. The sound when you stomp on the gas is outstanding, it roars, and sounds so boss ! Hooking it up was a snap, the directions are so good, anyone that can read can hook it up. I had no problems what so ever. I am not sure if it will help my gas miles but time will tell, thats if I can stop stomping on the gas long enough"

"I installed the 77 Series on my '06 F-150 hoping to improve fuel economy. The installation was easier than I thought it would be. It looks and sounds cool and it does seem to improve the performance a bit. However, I've only been through a couple of tanks of gas and the fuel economy actually seems to have fallen off. Thus far I have not noticed any improvements. Maybe I need to give it more time."

"Once the motor compartment layout was compared to the K&N 77 instruction sheet the installation was very obvious. The hardest part was fitting the gasket material around the supplied heat shield. In my case it required glue (GOOP) and clamps in order for it to conform to the shields's shape. To date it has only been driven on short trips and the HP increase seems to parallel K&N's graphical data sheet. It's much more noticeable at higher RPMs. The air intake noise also increases with engine speed. With only one tank of gas used since installation, it appears that mileage has improved about one MPG."

"This is definitely the best investment one could buy for their SUV. The directions are clear and concise. Trimming and installing the rubber trim gasket around the metal heat shield is the most time consuming step so I recommend doing this first before starting the main installation. The primary filter assembly and filter adapter can also be put together first to save time. Don't know if this system will help on gas mileage but the horsepower gains and sound alone will put a smile on your face."

"Great kit easy to install except for heat shield seal (used "Gorrilla" glue. Performance with Magnaflow muffler and stage one Jet Chip pretty good. Better mileage too."

"I have to say that this product is really awesome, it sounds great and best of all it gives my trucks engine a new line on life. The engine to run's better throughout the gears and runs smoother at idle. Off the line it seems to be quicker, and have i mentioned the way it sounds!!! Also i have noticed about 1 to 1.5 mpg more, so that has helped a little with these crazy gas prices."

"What a wonderful difference! Not only is the truck performance better, but the instalation was a snap. It only took about 30 mins to remove the stock air filtration and install this one. "I ordered the K&N due to a problem I had with the stock intake and the OEM replacement would have been outrageously high. After researching several after market products, I went with the K&N. It took about 10 minutes to unpack and read the instructions then 15 minutes to install. I had an immedaite improvement in engine response and am seeing a marked improvement in my gas mileage. This one's a winner!"

"I think it is well worth the money. I could feel how much smoother the engine ran, and it gave it noticable performance. Not to sure about gas mileage yet, didn't really check it. Pretty simple to install if you have any sense."
