"I think it is well worth the money. I could feel how much smoother the engine ran, and it gave it noticable performance. Not to sure about gas mileage yet, didn't really check it. Pretty simple to install if you have any sense."

"I've been buying K&N filtering systems since I had a '79 Chevy Z28. They're easy to install, easy to maintain and I can feel the increase in power from the beginning! I won't install any other after market filtering system than K&N!"

"The install was pretty easy except for putting the channel on the housing. I have run 2 tank fulls so far and have noticed a 2 to 3 mile per gallon increase. This is of course going easy on the gas pedal. I need to run a few more tank fulls to get an accurate number on the mpg.
The sound this thing makes is great-has a nice deep rumble. Finally can feel an increase in horse power but I haven't beat on it yet to see how much. I like this thing so much, I might put it in my other truck."

"Great product. Very easy to install and took me about 25 minutes to do. Already can tell an instant difference in power and 1.5-2 MPG better and that is good at $2.79 a gallon. Gives the truck an easier and deeper sound to it as well. I would recommend to anyone looking for that little bit of extra they are needing."

K&N 77 Series Metal Intake Kit on Dodge Ram 1500 Hemi Sport

"Installed fairly easy. Was super hard to get the fragile Oxygen sensor in the rubber grommet. Soap helped but in the end, I had to "whittle" the rubber down to get it in all the way. Great sound and I can feel the improved performance. Gas mileage did not improve though. May be because I installed this with a 3" High Performance exhaust kit."

"Installed the Series 77 in about 20 minutes on my GMC Sierra Z71 Crew. Immediately noticed improved acceleration. I've also noticed that since adding the kit the truck doesnt downshift as often. I suspect this is due to the fact that I dont have to get as deep into the pedal to accelerate."

"I think it helps my gas mileage but time will tell. It sounds great when you stomp it. My kit had two hump type hoses. There was a step type listed on the parts list but was missing. That is why several others and myself had to heat the hose to make it work. I got in touch with K&N and they are sending the correct hose.(I purchased the kit through Auto Anything. It was great except for one thing. The parts list listed "B. hose, step, black silicone 1 08050". I had two in my kit. 08176 and 08178. I used the 08178 on my throttle body but had to soak it in hot water to get in on. Why the incorrect hose in the kit? Also will this affect the performance? If so can I purchase just the 08050 hose. Thank you.)"

"I put a K&N 77 series on my wife's 2002 Yukon XL (she loves it!) Installation was quick (less than 1 hour), instructions were fairly clear and not in the least bit intimidating. It was liberating to remove all the restrictive intake junk and install this system. It looks clean and mean under the hood. I noticed an increase in pull off the line and when passing. Sound is terrific, not loud unless you stomp on it. Which is why I can't comment on increased fuel economy....' can't keep my foot off the floor! The staff at Auto Anything were great! They helped me choose between systems, we talked about exhausts, etc. They are car guys who really know their products and want to help. The Price was the best and delivery to the east coast was 4 days. What are you waiting for, wake up your sleeping dragon! Rick"

"Remember the sound of the secondaries opening on your old muscle car? For me, that's what that huge rush of air sounds like when I open up the throttle body of my '05 Tundra. I especially notice that the truck never stops pulling hard all the way through the rpm range. I haven't had it long enough to know what it will do to my towing milage, but who cares. It gave me an additional 4.65 mpg on the highway. With a 26 gal. tank, that beautiful chrome snake under the hood will pay for itself in no time! I also had a custom 2 1/2" cat. back single exhaust sustem installed. If you put more air in faster, doesn't it make sense to get rid of it faster too? After all, it's only an air box."

"The intake was simple to install with good instructions. I received it with scratches to the chrome on the intake hose, but contacted K&N and they sent a new one after I emailed some photos. I haven't driven it enough to see any power or mileage improvements, but it does sound neat and kudos for great customer service from K&N!"

"The K&N 77 Series Intake is great! I have an '06 Tundra and I purchased the K&N Intake and also the Borla Cat back dual side exit exhaust system and it definetly helps out the performance and the mpg's, if you don't get on it tooooo much. I've noticed a 3-4 mpg increase. My truck only has 4,000 miles so I think it still might get another one or two. I have not checked it on the highway yet. I would highly recommend it, it looks and sounds great, especially with the borla exhaust combo. It's just hard to keep your foot off the gas. Thanks!"

"Big difference in sound (hisses at idle and growls when you punch it)and slight improvement in hp (6-7) with tornado. Plan to add a performance exhaust system soon, so the engine can exhale what it's now able to take in. Nessary and beneficial for ANY engine."

Beats modified stock box with K&N filter

"I installed this intake kit shortly after installing a set of jba headers. It did give a seat of the pants improvement in accelleration over the stock box with a k&n filter and holes drilled in the front of the box. Parts quality is very good, it appears that it should hold up for several years. A bit expensive, but what isn't these days? Would buy again and I do like the K&N horsepower increase guarantee, what other intake kit manufacturer offers this? Now my V6 runs like a V8."
