"Don't know if will increase the gas mileage or not but I sure do like the sound of it.After installing something like this one feels like the vehicle runs better,time will tell. Anyway,I like it.Installation was pretty much straight forward. Did have one problem and the technical people at K&N walked me right through it."

"I purchased this intake to replace the stock air system. So far is works great, increased horsepower and 1 or 2 miles per gallon. Really gives the Tahoe more pep. Installed on a 2004 Tahoe with 5.3 liter flex fuel engine."

"The install was simple(if you are mechanically minded). Looks great and sounds great. I can really feel the difference in the throttle response and when I mash the gas. Fuel mileage has increased by 1.2 mpg. Can't wait till I get my duel exhaust installed. I would recommend this product to anyone. And with it being K&N product, you know it will last."

"The performance improvement is great. The installation was easy except that one of the bolts on my car was too short to bolt on the mounting bracket. I just went to Lowes and bought a longer bolt. The car is louder but it sounds great."

"Can tell a difference in acceleration.. loud! sounds amazing! I can tell it will increase gas mileage but its hard to do so when I'm constantly revving to 6k rpms to hear the intake at its fullest. Install time only took me about 35-40 minutes Good price from here, would recommend Only cons- Install- one bracket is missing but you can use a stock one The O-rings provided to me were a bit too small for my Eclipse but we got it on, just going to get a new one today"

"I had a Ram Air Hood forced air intake on my 2006 Dodge Charger R/T, so getting a K & N 63 for my SRT8 is quite different. The CAI doesn’t have the same growl as the FAI, but at wide open throttle you can still feel the difference. It was very easy to install taking only about 10 minutes. "i recently bought a 2007 nissan frontier king cab nismo edition 4x4 and wanted to add a lil shine and performance under the hood. man what a difference in sound this thing makes when you stomp on the throttle, not too mention how good the chrome looks. i haven't noticed much of a gain in gas milage area but ive heard this helps. highly recomend getting one. installation was pretty straight forward. took about an hour and half. im very satisfied with this purchase"

"I bought this intake for my 2004 Chevy Colorado. The installation took a lot longer than expected. That being said, the assembly went together well and fit nicely. I can definately tell a performace boost, with better acceleration on the highway. I also notice that at 60 mph my truck runs about 500 rpm less than it used to."

"I really like this intake, far better than others i have tried. Mounts solid, sounds and runs good. Easy install too. Only con is i have noticed a high pitched whistle and my heck engine light came on after a while saying vacum leak.......i went through and tightened all the clamps and hopefully it will stay off. Overall though this is my favorite CAI i have ever tried. Very happy with it."

Black 69 Series Short Ram Air Intake

"I have had this installed on my 2006 TC for 2 weeks and I have notice at 4800 rpms and up a fair increase in power. It also has a nice low growl when accelerating but quiets down when at idle or cruising. Haven't had a chance yet to see if there is any mileage increase but can said for sure it has not gone down. I did have to trim the valve cover hose a bit for a good fit, other then that it when together in about 1 1/2 hours."

"Installed the K&N FIPK along with the Power Aide Throttle Body Spacer. Total install time was about 3 hrs with the help of a buddy. I think the instructions could have been a little better, but we didn't have any problems understanding it enough to get it installed. The performance gains were very noticeable. Quicker throttle response and the mid range power gains are awsome. Plus I can really hear my 4.7L breath now. I need some more time to see if there are any fuel mileage imporvments."

2003 dodge ram 5.9L diesel 3500

"I would have liked it better if the filter was not exposed to the elements (dirt,dust,water, muud).I also had to make a bracket to support the end of the filter. The stud was already there on the filter and they sent a lock nut and washer. The stud that the oem air box was mounted to was a handy place to attach the bracket. I spent about 3 hours installing and checking the clearences which were very close. It is not much louder all I hear is the turbo and the throttle response and fuel milage is much better.. I have not towed with it installed so I do not know what the fuel milage is yet. The empty milage seems to be at least 2-3 mpg. Time will tell............"
