"I really didn't think that this could do that much for my truck. I have a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 HEMI, and it made a big difference. I am really glad i got one. Improved gas milage too."

"The FIPK works fine...I've had them on 3 other vehicles. I just wish the metal piece that the filter sits in was designed better and insulated the filter from the engine heat."

"Installation was pretty simple, all except for install the gasket on heat shield/firewall. I could tell immediately the difference. Gas milage increased about 1-1 1/2 MPG so far."

"I've just installed this in my 07 FJ cruiser and I really like it. Gives the engine a different sound when you really jump on it. I feel the hp after about 2k on the tach. I recommend it...pretty easy to install too"

"This K&N CAI added about 5 horses. I definately feel a difference in throttle response. Also I can hear the engine "sucking" in air and it sounds really good! Definately worth the money paid to bring back some dead horses!"

"I installed the CAI on my 08 Nissan Titan Pro4X and have been pleased with the purchase. The installation took about an hour. I laid it all out on the garage floor and then went to work. The sound is pleasant however, it does make you want to get your foot into the gas a little more often now. So far with normal driving I am seeing 1-2MPG improvements. I plan on installing a gibson side swept exhaust soon so we will see if this will help the gains."

"Easy install except for the fact that some items could not been seen very well on a Black and White instruction. System quite at idle and cruise, but @ accelleration you can here it kick in. I have been a K&N user! I have used them in all my trucks and now on my car. Keep up the Great Work!!!!!!!!!!!"

"The best dollar value for HP increase. Installation took 3 hrs, but that was because it took 2 1/2 hours to remove the factory parts. Afterwards, I took it to the streets and immediately notice in increase in HP and a better throttle response. If you want to increase the power, don't hesitate any longer. Buy it!!!"

"Looks great!! Sounds great!! Noticed increased HP the first time I punched it, and a nice growl as it sucked in a big gulp of air. As for increased gas mileage I'm not sure because I like the new found power!! The only draw back was the directions were only about 80% accurate!! You need some common sense to put it in because the instructions are just wrong at times. But even with bad instructions it only took about 90 min to install!!"

"Good system. Noticeable increase in acceleration off the start. Installation was a snap. Sounds normal - until you get on it a little bit. Then it's loud! I like it. Have not seen any increase in MPG."

"Installation took about an hour. Instructions were easy to understand. Was making 15 mpg with Flowmaster exhaust. After installation, increased to 16.9 mpg. I haven't noticed too much increase in horsepower. Sounds very throaty."

"Purchasing the 63 series I was more so going for increased fuel economy, although the thought of extra horsepower sounded good. To my pleasure I saw an increase in both. As with most cold air intake kits there is the byproduct of noise, to my amazement K&N did a great job with their new design and use of material to lower decibles, giving you that growl only when you want it. I reccomend this kit to anyone looking for an easy quality increase to your horsepower arsenal."

"I purchased the filter system for my 99 toyota tacoma 2.7l 4x4. It gave a noticable improvement in highway driving, where the truck was lacking power. The sound is nice, with an intake howl that makes driving this slow ass truck a little more exciting."

"I had already installed a K&N filter in my Nitro and that improved the gas mileage a couple mpg. Now, after installing the K&N intake, I didn't notice it get any better gas mileage. So whether you replace the whole intake with K&N, or you just replace the filter, your going to get about the same gas mileage upgrade. But, I can't complain because I didn't buy an SUV for the good gas mileage, haha. The REAL difference is the horsepower and throttle response! Usually when you STEP on the throttle it takes a second to kick in before it takes off... NOT ANYMORE! Whether I'm taking off from a stop sign, or I'm already going 30-40mph, when I step on the gas I feel it go! No more sluggish performance. It also has a deeper purrr now. I just need to get an exhaust system now. =) A++"

"Rather straightforward installation, one does notice a change to performance in the higher rev band. Definitely a change to engine intake noise on cold idle. Sounds like a vacuum, once engine warms it goes back to normal Porsche sound. At speed and higher rev though one can hear the intake once again when the engine opens the throttle. Don't really like the appearance of the alteration to a engineering design. Wish it was alittle less obvious."

"I installed the typhoon a week ago and have already seen an increase in MPG! As soon as I installed it, I also could feel a major difference in power. My Camry felt sluggish and it felt like the motor had to strain at times. Now, my 4 cylinder feels like a 6 cylinder! Definitley worth every penny!"
