"Great product overall. Sounds mean, and, according to my butt dyno, gives me more power. It is quiet at cruising speeds or around the city but a good sound when you get on it. Went in easy in like 45 min but directions are a little vague. Make sure to double check and retighten the clamps after some driving as mine loosened up a bit. Overall I would recommend this product to others looking for some better mileage and a little shot in the arm for your vehicle."

"AWESOME! I HAVE TO SAY THAT I AM IMPRESSED WITH THE INTAKE NOT ONLY DOES IT LOOK GOOD BUT IT ALSO GAVE ME A LITTLE EXTRA LOVE UNDER THE HOOD. IT FEELS GOOD TO KNOW THAT THE MONEY WAS WELL SPENT. THANKS AGAIN"

"I am impressed with the ease of installation and the appearance of the unit. I have yet to check my mileage to see if that has changed. There has been one subtle change that I have noticed; the engine idles and accellerates more smoothly. The intake has a new sound that I also like."

"Installation was easy. Makes the engine sound great. Have flowmasters on my truck and the intake makes them sound a little bit better. Acceleration is better. Haven't noticed any savings in gas yet. The performance I received was more than expected."

"the series 77 intake was an easy install on my 00 dak w/4.7, it looks great and sounds awesome. doubt theres any performance increase since the factory intake is basically the same thing. the difference being the 4.7s air resonator and flat filter. did i mention that it sounds awesome, cuz it does!"

"Very easy to install, sounds absolutely amazing, improved throttle response, and gave a minimal MPG increase. Highly recomend, you can feel the extra power, and hear it too, can't wait to hear it in conjunction with my borla exhaust thats on order!!"

"The K&N intake was the best modification I could have done for my truck. The engine idles and runs noticibly smoother, like it was supposed to. I am alot more confident getting on the freeway. The throttle is way more responsive."

"The K&N 77 intake has given my trailblazer a noticable increase in power. It makes the inline 6 sound mean and impressive. It really can be felt around 2300 rpm's and higher. It also lengthend my shifting of my transmission to utilize more power from the engine. I'm still figuring my mileage to see if there will be an increase in the mpg. The unit is fairly easy to install but make sure if you have air injection on your model have a 1-1/4" hole saw or you won't be able to finsh the installation."

"The CAI appeared to be a quality piece. There were only a few minor things with it. The powder coating used on the metal pipe was full of pinholes. Had to do allot of cutting on the rubber seal for the air box, not really a big deal in that aspect though. Overall I would rate it a nice kit, except for all the pinholes in the powder coating. Oh, you can tell the CAI is on. It makes the engine have a different sound when you have to get on the gas. I could not tell a "seat of the pants" difference but it has to be better than the restrictive factory air box."

"I have a 2004 Chevy SS Silverado, I can tell a differance in power, Some reviews say you hear alot of air noise, but I think it sounds like a old quadrajet four barrel when you kick into it, normal driving I cannot tell a differance. I was hoping to see a 1-2 MPG differance but in two weeks have not, and yes I have spent the last week driving very conservative. I think it is a great quick add on for some extra power. BTW I think everyone that writes a reveiw should state the year, make and model of the vehicle they are talking about."

"I put the intake on my 2002 Silverado extended cab and it makes a huge difference! You dont notice on days when its around 35 degrees but if its warm out you can hear the intake aggressively sucking in air and you notice the better fuel economy and it makes my straight pipes roar even louder! 1000% worth the money!"
