"Installation was smooth, everything fit as it should.
Definite increase in throttle response, particularly at low speed. Lots of intake noise when accelerating hard, not noticable otherwise. Have not had a chance to check mpg yet.
My first order from AutoAnything.com-shippping was extremely prompt, follow up excellent. I am a fan for life!"

"Easily bolted on in about an hour. Fits well as promised, but would suggest removing part of the fan shroud as it mentions in step 29 (firm plastic shroud cover cuts easily even with the small saw on my Leatherman tool)."

"put this short ram on and did what it was made for.you have alot of persons telling to go cold air intake but sad part is you risk water from a rain storm getting in your engine and saying goodbye to your car.with this i get the same hp and knowing my car won't be in the junk yard.you really do notice and feel the difference in this car. the engine dos not suffer from lack of air that most air box's do in your car.and to those who still thinking of cold air. let me tell you this. that hose that gos to collect the air for your air box on your car or truck is used to flow air to the short ram.i have keep up or out run most v8 stock cars with this set up.and i only have a 4 cycler."

"This made a remarkable improvement in performance! It now runs like I felt it should have when I first bought it. Throttle response and acceleration at WOT are both much better. One glitch during installation with defective threading in the attachment point for the bolt that holds the metal bracket betweeh the intake tube and the engine block. We got it screwed in, but if we ever have to take it off the threads will probably be mucked up."

"the metal tube was bent in an oval shape and didn't fit correctly into the throttle body. There was also a loud wistling noise coming from it that was not common to cold air intakes."

"Great upgrade to dramatically increase throttle response. Just as I expected, uses a little more gas in the city, but appropriately makes up for it on the highway. A must need if a highway driver. High RPM's are broken loose with easy breathing. Gave me additional average of 1.5mpg. Easy installation."

"I recently purchased a Dodge Magnum 2005. It had only 4100 miles when I purchased. The 5.7 Hemi in the RT version I have had great power but had some lag time when you got on it. After the installation of the K&N kit, the lag was gone. it definately increased performance to this air hungry engine. Now there is just staight get up and go when you punch it. I am pleased with the punch it gave at higher speeds as well. Hopefully i will sonn be able to keep my foot off the accelerator to see how much it has improved my gas milage as well. The dyno test showed an increase of 20 horsepower that came with the filter. I am not sure of the 20 but it sure did add some kick. I plan to free up the exhaust next but I am very pleased with the purchase and you had the best price I could find on the kit."

"Easy to install, easy to follow instructions. Adds a nice sound when full throttle, making my V8 sound like one. Stock level of noise when part throttle, making cruising and normal acceleration a nice experience. Says it only adds 10 HP but can feel it in acceleration. Would recommend this piece to anyone looking for a bit more power without too much noise."

"ive had my intake for about 3 weeks now, here is my review...
pros....
-Saves me about 2 - 3.5 mpg on average
-Improved response time between 35000 and 45000 rpm's
-looks kinda cool after installed
-instalation guide was somewhat easy to navigate, lots of pictures
-options of having either a cold intake or just a simple ram air. (i went with cold intake)
-Great price
Cons...
-not the cleanest of all throttle sounds
-took too long to install the cold air intake (faster when installing only ram air)"

"Installation was easy and took about an hour. I immediately noticed a lot more power off of the line. It also gives that added boost you need when passing people on the highway. As far as gas mileage is concerned, I haven't noticed any increase in the city but I have noticed a 3 mpg increase on the highway. The engine also runs at a lower RPM and sounds great. You're car will thank you!"
