"I installed this kit on my 4X Club Cab Lariat with the 5.4L engine in about 2 hrs. The instructions are very good & installation was easy. Fit & finish is excellent. Depending on how you drive, this cold air intake can deliver improved fuel economy. 3mpg increase around town & 1+ mpg on highway no bull - (no towing yet). When you mash the skinny pedal the induction sound is awsome. Bottom line, - went from 12.7 mpg around town to 15+mpg but you must use a feather light touch on the gas pedal. Regardless of driver, for the very first time, the tail pipe is now free of soot! The 300HP pig is now awake"

"I was a little skeptical about the installation process. I've never done anything to the engine of my truck and was actually scarred about it. It only took me about an hour total and was really easy. The product itself is exactly as the manufactuer says, it provides more horsepower and more fuel effeciency. The intake also looks great under the hood. Its is extremely clean and gives it a beefy look. I really love this thing and and would suggest it to anyone, it really is a good investment with the fuel prices soaring more and more everyday."

"Besides getting a awesome price on the K&N cold air intake system, I received a system that sounds, looks and preforms super. It was easy to install and fits perfectly where the factory system once was. I'm not sure if any increase in gas miliage, but I could feel the increase of horsepower. I also thank AutoAnything for shipping this system with no cost to me. I will continue to do business with AutoAnything."

"Placed a K&N cold air intake on my 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 with 5.7 hemi. So far I have gotten worse gas mileage, but I have only run one tank full. If it does not improve I'll switch back to the stock air intake. It does look and sound good though."

A Must Upgrade

"Considering the miniscule opening the OEM filter setup has on the F-150 4.6L to aspirate, this upgrade is a must. You go from a hole about the size of a silver dollar to an unrestricted 2.5" pipe. It only makes sense. The kit was easy to install, ~1.5 hrs and I can feel the difference in sudden acceleration. I haven't had it long, so gas mileage is still to be assessed. I installed a K&N in my BMW 318is and it also made a bit difference."

"I have had this intake on for a few days now and I have really been enjoying it. It makes the engine sound a lot better and I have not been able to check the fuel economy yet, but I know that it has improved at least a little bit. This kit looks good and was not too hard to put on. It took me about an hour."
