"Very happy with the sound and power I have now. Now when I push the gas I can tell I have a V-8 under the hood. Have not been able to tell gas mailage yet. Sure it will come in time. I will now put one on any truck or suv I buy."

A Must Upgrade

"Considering the miniscule opening the OEM filter setup has on the F-150 4.6L to aspirate, this upgrade is a must. You go from a hole about the size of a silver dollar to an unrestricted 2.5" pipe. It only makes sense. The kit was easy to install, ~1.5 hrs and I can feel the difference in sudden acceleration. I haven't had it long, so gas mileage is still to be assessed. I installed a K&N in my BMW 318is and it also made a bit difference."

"I have had this intake on for a few days now and I have really been enjoying it. It makes the engine sound a lot better and I have not been able to check the fuel economy yet, but I know that it has improved at least a little bit. This kit looks good and was not too hard to put on. It took me about an hour."

"It took a little more time than expected to install but once I had it up and running. The vehicle was a lot louder, more power, and if i keep my foot off the gas pedal. Better on the wallet for gas. I would highly recommend this intake to anyone."

"I've installed FIPK's on everything I own. This one is tops!!! A little difficult with the seal on the baffle, in and out, but the filter has massive capacity and sounds awesome a mile away. had a 3 mpg increase right away!!!!"

"I put the K&N 77 Cold Air Intake on my 2007 Tacoma. The install took about 45 minutes and the instructions wre perfect. My truck has better low end torque with the 77 and the idle is smoother as well. The 77 Series complements the Borla Flow Through exhaust I already had on the truck. I highly recommend this unit."

"Received the packaged on time, however there was a part missing, directly called K&N and they sent the missing part right away. I was impressed with customer service respond. Installation was not difficult. I can feel the power at higher RPM. Gushing air creates a roaring sound but it's tolerable and like it. There's a gap in the lower portion of the enclosure. Why can't K&N engineers totally enclosed the filter? I've notice an increase in mileage 1.5-2 mpg on a conservative driving."

"Love the performance boost I have noticed, but the extra suction noise almost sounds like a small metal rattling until you listen very closely. Kind of annoying. I was expecting a similar sound to what Chevys get which is a light whistle of more air being breathed. Instead, it sounds like a washer is rattling. Love the performance boost though."

"I have a 2004 Durango. It took me about an hour to install the intake kit. I would say the installation was easy and the instructions were great. I like the deeper sound from the engine but have not seen a increase in MPG yet, having only driven about 50 miles. I would buy it again."

"Great looking intake! The performance difference is significant with an awesome sound when driving hard! I think K&N could have done a better job with sealing the heat shroud to the engine compartment, too many big gaps near the fender & to the hood, letting engine heat in & decreasing possible performance. The rubber seal around the heat shield was also very difficult to put on & could have been more flexible."
