"Install took 35 min. Very easy. At 2500 RPM the new sound begins. At 3000 RPM, my truck sounds wicked! The increased HP is noticable right away. If I accidentally give it too much gas at a low speed, it will snap my head back. Passing power, anywhere from 45-70 MPH when you stomp on it, it acts like a V8 is supposed to act! I got +9HP with my set-up, but the power increase is in a great range & it really woke up my 5.3 Z-71. VERY happy with my purchase!"

"Very easy to install. follow the directions and it only took about 30 minutes to install. Engine seems to respond much faster. Also installed a large bore exhaust system from AFE turbo back about 4 hours to remove and replace. Both wered purchased from Anythingauto. Very good price for both. Customer service from Anythingauto was beyond excellent. Should gain about 30 to 40 more horsepower from both and milage should be somewhere around 3 to 5 more miles to the gallon. adds up after a year of driving."

"I am disappointed in the overall performance/economy of the intake system. Essentially it replaced the factory system with an exposed K&N air filter. This allows a lot more bugs, dirt, etc access to the filter body. In the factory system the filter was shielded. Installation was not difficlult if you followed instructions. Economy did not change, even with a Superchips programmer and dual exhaust cat-back system. The motor was a bit more responsive, but not enough to warrant the cost of the kit. I have used K&N filters on trucks and motorcycles for years. They have met expectations until now. I will probably reinstall the factory system. --- O. G. "

"I recently purchased a K&N fipk and I must say that I am impressed. Installation was straight foward and wasn't long. The intake has a great look compared to regular stock intake. The fipk gave my dodge neon a more rumble to the engine at high rpms and I notice a bit more horsepower. If you are looking for a great intake that does a lot get K&N fipk. The only downside of this kit is that it may lower your mpg, but that's cause I can't keep my foot off the gas."

"Directions were good, pictures helped, use common sense in some cases. In some parts directions were not to discriptive. Took me about 60 minutes to install everything. Make sure u turn your wheels to the right before you start, so taking the inside fender out much more easier. I can notice the difference in power and am getting about 2-3 more miles to the gallon more. Every little bit helps with these gas prices. awseome system. will buy from autoanything again."

"The K&N Air Intake system provides significant increase in low to mid RPM throttle response. Response in the 2,000 - 3,000 RPM range is dramatic. Well worth the cost and effort to install. Instructions and installation was fairly easy with the exception of determining which hardware should be used. Diagram needs to list which hardware is required for each step. It can be done with a close look at the instruction diagram, but could be easier. I am glad I made the investment and the kit arrived on time as promised"

"Excellent product. Looks and performs great. More horsepower, better gas mileage and my Expedition runs smoother. Instructions were easy enough to follow. Only complaint is the kit didn't include a new (and longer) crankcase vent hose for my 5.4L engine. The old hose was too short and I had to make a run to the parts store to complete the job. For the price of the kit, a new hose wouldn't kill the profit margin."

"My 2nd K+N cold air intake. Does not have the deep 4 barrel sound that you get with a V8. The V6 version has a massive K+N filter that rubs a little on the radiator support. I also installed an Airraid TB spacer, this may be the reason it rubs a little. Improved throttle response, small power gain even with the spacer."

"Definitely looks and sounds great! Installation was a breeze. Although, the instructions don't tell you how to troubleshoot minor problems. I had to do a "master reset" on my truck to get it to run properly. Which is disconnecting the positive battery cable. It would have been nice if the instructions touched on some common problems and solutions! Overall, I love it! It is a little hefty in the price, but still cheaper than most!"
