"Easy to install for someone who has never done any kind of auto work before. Overall sounds kinda nice... Not sure if gives you the 9 extra horses it claims, but honestly would anyone really know the difference? Whatever, if you want to - go for it, but don't expect your 325 to turn into a porsche for 2 bills (surprised?)..."

"I don't have any before and after dyno data but I can tell that my SUV has more pull. Wish it were more at the low end, though. The manufacture of the product is near flawless. Very impressive. With normal driving, my mpgs went up by 0.5 to 1.0. Whatever your baseline was, it is hard to continue driving that way - since your vehicle will be much quicker/ faster. So, now I want to stomp on the pedal more often. In this case, mpgs drop quickly - but that is to be expected. In addition to the dropping of mpgs, the loudness of the air intake/ engine makes you want to be gentle w/ the pedal. Man, is that think loud! That's all I have to say. Highly recommend for those of you that want to enhance performance when you need it and increase full economy (when you aren't taking advantage of the enhanced performance)."

"Easy installation. Took about 45 minutes from start to finish. Noticable difference in sound coming from under hood (you can here the car sucking in air). More response when you hit the gas , even more so at highway speed (60 and up). Better gas mileage ? (Don't really care about gas mileage just want to have a fast car) Also dresses up engine pretty nice. Bottom line, Buy one."

"Definetly more power and at least .5 MPG increase so far. Had a bit of a problem aligning the snorkel holes to the studs in the throttle body, they were a little short or the gasket was too thick (the stock one was thinner. Other than that, easy as pie."

"I am really excited with the performance of the new intake. It looks great and the stock system was so restrictive. However I am not thrilled with the kit. The heat shield does not seal off anything, and the holster bolted to the alternator does not fit tightly to hold the filter up. Overall the performance is great but I am little disappointed with the kit. I also did not have an 11/16 drill bit so I needed to improvise."

"The turbo now builds boost much quicker. It takes a little while to adjust to the new turbo noises you can now here but they sound cool. I have put these on my last car and lover it too. Every car/truck should have one"

"Pro's: Adds noticeable Horse Power, car feels smoother while shifting less, Gained 1 MPG City/ 1.5 MPG Highway, kit looks sharp under the hood, not much of a noise increase. Con's: The installation guide was terrible, I finally let my mechanic install it to save myself a headache, took them two hours. Because the filter is exposed, I can no longer take my car into an automatic car wash (filter gets wet which worries me about Hydro Locking.) Bottom line, AutoAnything carries this kit for the cheapest price (I looked around at 10 other sites, and you just can't beat them), adds HP and a bit of MPG, but I would let someone else install this kit if you don't normally work on the car."

"There is so much to say about this filter...all positive... Installation was a breeze, less than an hour in my driveway...The results were noticeable immeadiately. I have a 2005 Durango with the 5.7L Hemi and man did I notice the difference in torque and horsepower right away. Haven't dynoed it, but they're claim of 17 hp increase seems about right. The filter helps make the engine sound a lot more beastly, giving it an awesome growl when accelerating. The best thing is the 2-3mpg increase I've seen with it! I would recommend this and all K&N prodcuts to anyone, regardless of application!!! Oh and don't let me forget to mention the great prices from autoanything.com. I did lots of research and comparison and they can't be beat!!!"

"I like it, looks good and it sounds good at high revs, although not as loud as they claim. I can now also hear the knocking of the engine. The instructions could be clearer, I suggest that you study the exploded diagram first, the pictures on the brochure are small and in black & white and low resolution, I would have like better instructions. Overall I think is kind of expensive it should be at least in the 200.00 range to match the value."

"i love the extra passing power and awesome sound it gives my 5.4L motor - just needs better instructions - it only says to "use hardware provided" and you have to try and figure out in the exploded diagram which parts to use - other than that its great"

"I bought this product having seen proven performance and better gas mileage in my previous vehicle. The car sounds mean when you give it the gas, but acts civilized when you are cruising - just how is should be. I was supposed to get about a boost of 17 bhp with this upgrade. I feel it and so does my wife, which is kinda rare that she notices changes to the car. the rubber breaks free a lot more easily now and off the line there is a noticeable difference. I've gained about 2 - 3 mpg with this upgrade, with brings me to 18 city and 22 hwy being fairly aggressive. If my wife drives it its more like 19, 24."

"I deliberated for some time over which intake to get. I was swayed, at least in part, by Autoanything’s low price on the K&N FIPK. I had a FIPK on my intrepid and was happy with the it. The FIPK make a huge difference on the HEMI RAM in terms of power and the shear rumble of the engine. My 400hp truck finally sounds like a V8 truck.Installing the air temp sensor can be difficult and remember to reset the computer to “Learn mode” to take full advantage of the intake."

"Installation wasn't that bad. More trouble removing the original equipment than installing the Kit. There is an increase in performance although this type of add-on never seems to be as much as hoped. And it does change the sound coming out from under the hood. Small increase in mpg's but still early to tell. Overall, not really disappointed. But if you truly want more power buy the 8 cylinder cherokee. The mpg aren't that much different. Also, compared to other internet catalog stores, AutoAnything rocks."

"This thing is great, it did decrease acceleration by a bit but it does have a better sound to my engine. MPG only 1.5 or so, bu hey it helps out alot now in days.I'd recommend it for anyone looking for bolt on power."
