"This was well worth the money. It looks great under the hood and sounds great too. I installed this shortly after installing a magnaflow performance exhaust system, and the cold air intake works great in combination with a good exhaust system. Great buy!"

"I don't know about horsepower increases with this kit but I do know the throttle response know is incredible. I hit the gas and it goes, no working up to it no hesitation, it just goes! I highly recomend this kit to anyone looking to breath new life into their car."

"This is my third cold air intake from K&N over the last ten years and each system gets better designed. K&N has one of the lognest prodect development histories in air induction and their products refect it. One of the priority purchases for and modern fuel injected engine. Oh and by the way... I was originally going to purchase the system from Jeg's High Performance and they quoted my a price of $70 higher than AutoAnything."

"I couldn't believe how easy it was to install. I did it in about 2 hours with no problems.It makes my truck sound mean and the horsepower is up also, plus I think that I'm getting better gas milage. Go figure cool sound with cool looks,and milage too, thanks k&n and autoanything"

"This is an excellent product. The illustrations on the instruction are a big help. I noticed the increase horsepower the first time I stepped on the pedal. I have gained approx: 1 to 2 mpg. The first thing I noticed is there was no hesitation when you stepped on the pedal that you got with the stock intake system. Excellent product and well worth the money."

"The unit went in fairly easily. One problem was the lower mounting rubber feet. While they installed fine they were too low as they allowed outside frame unit to touch brake lines. I cured this by shimming slightly and then tighting rubber feet. The rest of install was snap and the instructions were good. The power is really noticeable and the mileage has increase but only slightly, but this has been ony for one tank full and I believe that will get better."

"The K&N intake is a great addition to any truck. It adds alot of torque and horse power to your vehicle. The installation took about 20 minutes and was done right infront of my house. I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking to add to their truck without going over the top financialy."

"I have a '98 Mustang GT and the K&N FIPK Air Intake made a difference in performance, sound of the vehicle and the gas mileage. A week after installing it I went on a road trip and got 23mpg with a 4.6L. The motor seems to run smoother too."

"I decided to order a cold air intake for my '05 Mazda3S a couple of weeks ago. Once it came to the house, the next day I started working to install it. The intake itself is easy to install, the time consuming part is removing the air filter chamber and the resonator, because the only way to really get to that is to take off the front tire. But once all of the old parts were out, the installation of the intake was a snap. The intake doesn't add a huge amount of HP, but a lifetime filter that you clean vs buying a $50 one every time you turn around.. the savings are plain to see. I recommend this as a great alternative to conventional air filters, plus it's so easy to install.. even for chicks. :)"

"ORDERED AND RECEIVED THE KIT FOR MY VIPER, HAD IT INSTALLED BY MY MECHANIC. BELIEVE COULD HAVE DONE SO MYSELF BUT THERE WAS A LARGE ORANGE PRINTED SHEET INCLUDED RE POSSIBLE DISASTROUS CONSEQUENCES IF INSTALLED INCORRECTLY. HAD TO HALT INSTALLATION PROCESS BECAUSE ONE ADAPTER WAS MISSING; CALLED THE SELLER AND THEY FED-XED TO ME OVERNIGHT. I WAS GIVEN PAUSE INITIALLY BECAUSE A FRIEND INSTALLED ONE ON HIS LATE MODEL CORVETTE WITH THE RESULT THAT SOME SORT OF AIR FLOW MONITORING SYSTEM WAS ADVERSELY AFFECTED BY THE KIT AND HE RECOMMENDED THAT I DO NOT INSTALL.WITH MANY YEARS GOOD EXPERIENCE WITH K&N, I WENT AHEAD AND THUS FAR I HAVE HAD NO PROBLEMS. THE KIT INCLUDED A DYNO TEST FOR THE MODEL YEAR OF MY VIPER INDICATING I WOULD PICK UP ABOUT FOURTEEN HORSEPOWER AND I AM WILLING TO SAY THAT THIS IS PROBABLY TRUE ALTHOUGH A BIT DIFFICULT TO CATEGORICALLY VERIFY BECAUSE A 14 HP INCREASE WOULD REPRESENT SOMETHING LIKE 2-3%. UNDER STIFF ACCELERATION THOUGH, YOU CAN CLEARLY HEAR SOUND OF FREER FLOWING AIR MOVING THROUGH THE TWIN K&N FILTERS. I AM HAPPY WITH THIS PURCHASE."

"I bought this intake to try to gain a little horsepower and possibly increase my gas mileage by a few mpg's. My primary decision for going with the K&N was that I had used their stock air filters in the past and knew how durable/well constructed they were. Also, I wanted the intake, but I didn't want the hassle of dealing with cops and smog inspectors, so it had to be street legal in my state (California). This product was extremely easy to install, just followed the directions. After nearly two weeks of usage, I love this product. I could feel the increase of horsepower on my throttle (especially when getting on the freeway and trying to pick up speed). Oddly enough, after several tanks of gas (on my usual work route) I noticed about a 3-4 mpg increase. Great Product !!! Thanks Autoanything and K&N !!!"

"excellent fit....only drawback were the instructions were off a little for my truck (2007 Tacoma)...the directions advised to remove ABS pump mounting nut... however the ABS pump is on the other side. needed to go to NAPA to buy some extra hardware...not a big deal but a worthy comment to make to other installers."

"Directions were easy to follow and the unit looks very good when installed. So far I can tell you that without question it added additional horsepower.I was suprised by the power that it added. I am not sure of the gas savings as I have not had a chance to check it yet because I have been towing a trailer etc. Very good value and easy install....."
