"My son and I installed hte K&N unit on my 2008 Ford F-150 5.4 Litre. Not too bad to install as long as you follw the step by step instructions. Persormance was felt instantly. The truck only has 32 miles on it, so it will break in with it. I am about to install the Flowmaster 50 Series Catback system which will enhance the power I just gain with the K&N Assy. Truly incredable!!"

"This was an easy install on a 2003 Ford F250 Superduty. It took about 30 minutes to install with very simple to follow instructions. The improvement is very noticeable with the throttle response being much better then before. I would definitely recommend this for anyone who has an F250 Superduty!!!"

"Intake for 04 Chev. Col. Shipped as stated, all parts and directions included. Installion instructions were well written and easy to follow. Only problem noted was the fit up of the air sheild to the fender well, had air gaps that the rubber seal did not cover. Very good performance increase. Power increase was at least what was advertised or more. Tom, T.C. Texas"

"The directions for instalation were hard to read sometimes. AS an example, it would say use the extra hole in the radiator support, but it didnt really say where the hole was. Besides minor instruction difficulties, the product was shipped in a decent time and it came in great shape."

"installation was a breeze except a few steps were in the wrong order. Haven't seen a difference in mpg. I seem to be going through the same amount of gas, but driving a mustang there isn't too many miles i can go (17 mpg). It does give it bigger balls for the car and the driver lol. It sounds great as well."

"The intake system was very easy to install, took me no more than 45 minutes. The new filter adds a deeper sound to the engine and greater response to acceleration and speed. Ive noticed about a 2-3 mpg improvement in my gas mileage. Well Worth It!!"

"Since I've installed this, I've told everyone it was the best hundred bucks I've ever spent. Great performance gains up high, easier to launch low end,bypass valve(blow-off) is more audible, looks great! It's a K&N, you pretty much know you're getting something good with one of these."

"This kit has a ridiculous sound to it. As soon as you punch it you can feel the power and the sound is awesome. Kit looks good as well. Although the installation was difficult. Instructions were difficult to read and the elbow piece from the intake manifold and throttle body requires drilling which is stated no where. Overall the kit looks and sounds good but the installation wasn't quick and easy."

"The cold air intake system was very easy to install. The instructions were very detailed and the pictures were excellent in pointing out areas of interest when installing the system. After having it installed now for approximately 3 weeks, I have been able to see about a 3 to 4 mile per gallon increase in fuel mileage. Which, in an age of $3.50 gas, any little bit helps. Also, upon my initial test drive immediately after the install, I was able to tell a nice boost in HP that was very noticable in the 3000 to 4500 RPM range. The car is also a little bit louder than stock but it is a nice "throaty" sounds now over the stock system and is not by any means annoying. Overall I would highly recommend this product not only for the ease of install and price, but also for the added benefits you receive in the form of increased gas mileage and more HP. You will not be disappointed."

"So far, the K&N FIPK air intake kit has increased my Siiverado Crew Cab gas mileage by 6 to 7% in my typical around town driving. With current gas prices, it will pay for itself in no time. Now I'm thinking about getting one for my Explorer."

"I havent really noticed much change in the MPG ratio, but I do notice a more rapid response when pushing on my gas pedal. Which is mostly why I got it was for more power and acceleration. It was pretty easy to install the instructions were very easy to follow. It took me around an hour to put in. I dont really like the plastic on it but it looks alright. It was extremely cheap compared to any other place I was going to buy it from and it was shipped on time and arrived early in the morning. Very satisfied with the shipping."

"she had a cj5 with 304 v8 and had to part ways, now has 04 wrangler 4.0, and said she felt like she was driving a sissy jeep. we gave her a little more power, better gas mileage, and a better sound. next is the gibson cat back exhaust."

"Cold Air Kit arrived in excellent condition. Included instructions made installation a breeze. Since I’ve installed the exhaust tips are burning totally clear (no black soot). There is a definite fill of power gain. The engine has a throaty sound to it now. California owners don’t forget to place the metal K/N tag next to filter for smog inspect. I’m totally impressed with this Kit."

"installing the intake was pretty easy. the look it gives it looks stock like its factory. But it what my truck was asking for. more air !! Right off the back you can feel the power you gain. And later you see how much gas you save. Its a great product. and if you got a stock ford ranger get this intake"

"I installed a K&N FIPK cool air performance kit in my 1999 S10 pickup W/4 cyl w/117800 miles on it my mileage went from 20-21mpg to 24mpg,in town. I'm very pleased with the results,so i put one in my yukon & my 07 tundra have'nt checked mileage yet. First time ordering from autoanything great job."
