"I had a few bumps installing my air intake (nothing to do with the product) just a few minor bumps with the car. I am getting better gas mileage and my acceleration has gotten much better."

"I do like the finished product. it is much louder and accelerates faster. the thing i honestly did not like was that I had to drill a hole in the intake tube for a sensor. a big hole too. I had to drive to a few stores and a friends house just to drill one part. over all id give it 4 out of 5"

"I recently purchased a K&N air intake system for my 2004 FordF250 through Autoanything.com. I am VERY pleased with the product and the timely manner in which I recieved it from this company. I can HEAR and FEEL the difference. The K&N intake combined with the Bully Dog Power Pup and Outlook Monitor has added a CRAZY AMOUNT OF POWER to my Powerstroke. And I've gained 1 1/2 miles per gallon while pulling my trailer to work and back. But I haven't been able to calculate the mileage without pulling my trailer because I can't keep my dang foot off the gas pedal."

"Took a bit of doing but finally got it installed. The car seems to have more power. Pick up is smoother as is overall responce. I logged an additional 2 mile per gallon right from the start. Very good kit. Only drawback will be to clean the filter. On the Camaro, I have to remove the body panel under the left front fender to get at the filter and getting to the clamp to tighten the filter is going to be a real problem."

"I purchased the FIPK for my 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 diesel. Install of the product was easy. The intake tube and filter look great. The sound from turbo is also pretty good. Not abundantly loud but definately better sound than stock. Don't really notice power difference but the turbo certainly spools a litle faster. The FIPK is definately a good product for the price. Would recommend to others."

"Installation was easy. I have limited driving experience due to cold and snow. A better explanation of charging the filter would be helpful, i.e. should state the filter is charged when it comes in the box."

"I've only driven my truck a few times since installing my K & N Cold air intake, so far I love it. I notice a deep tone when I accelerate and it seems a little more responsive. I will put one of these on all my vehicles in future."

"Installed on my 2004 F250 5.4L (gasoline)...have thus far experienced about 1 mile per gallon increase though my foot has been on the petal a bit more ;o and throttle response has been impressive. Great investment...especially since bought on sale here for $198 including shipping! Would definitely recommend!"

"To cut to the chase the K&N FIPK Air Intake system is very easy to install with common hand tools. With very little automotive experience, it took me only 2 hours from start to finish. I give it a 8 on ease of installation, 10 beign the easiest. The only area I could see for improvement was when it came to reconnecting the rubber hoses. More detailed discriptions or better pictures on this subject would have saved me 15 minutes. Aside from installation the the the air intake system gives the 3.4L a deeper tone with noticable hp and mpg increases. I'm pretty sure I am going to enjoy having it."

"The filter was easy to install. I watched my scan gauge as it rose to over 100 degrees as I stood still in rush hour but once moving the intake air droped to between 6 and 12 degrees above the outside tempature of 58. The stock temp was about 10 to 20 degrees above the outside air but did not go up nearly as much sitting in traffic. This filter grabs more of the hot air under the hood while sitting still but once moving cools off well and adds just a bit more sound to the engine compartment. I like it!"

"Noticed moderate increase in power for what was instaled. Also noticed 2-3 mpg increase. Install was little tricky had to trim a little of fan shroud to make room. Wanted to also instal a throtle body space but with this motor and air fliter major trimmimg would have to be done to fan and shroud. All and all very pleased with price and performance! :)"

"Since the install of my intake I have had nothing but problems with it. I have contacted your company and K&N. Your company put me in contact with K&N an d they have just blown me off. So your service was fine but the product sucks. I now have a useless after market intake seating in my garage now."

"I have a '96 Dodge Ram 1500 4wd manual. I purchased the K&N FIPK system for that year and model. Installing went well until it was time to install the intake tube on the throttle body, and I noticed that the AC line was directly in the way of the tube to fit into the isolation box at the front. Their illustration shows an AC line running along side the heater hose along the valve cover. Not my truck!! They don't even show the same dryer/receiver on the fire wall. My stuff is still factory and never been altered. I was finally able to install it maneuvering the line, but it is still under quite a bit of pressure. That being said, I've noticed slight noticeable gains in performance. Power delivery is smoother."

"I have bought other intakes in the past and they were good, but the FIPK is awesome! It has a nice appearence, the piping is plastic, rather than aluminum, so it helps with the heat dissapation. The sound is good, it is not too loud, it doesn't even really come into full swing until ~4000 rpm. Overall, I am very pleased and would recommend it to anyone wanting to purchase an intake system."
