"The improvements in air flow have decreased my fuel consumption to the rate of mileage increase of 1.0 to 1.4 mpg. I really liked the looks of this unit (when installed), plus the ease of installation. I have recommended this unit to a friend for his wifes' Dodge diesel and for his also. There is a noticeable increase in felt torque plus a much quicker response time(less turbo lack, faster spool-up). I am impressed with this unit. (Signed) Gary "

"It looks good, and the first installation attempt was fairly easy. I say first because, through no apparent fault of K&N, Pontiac chose to mix and match parts (this, the brakes, the airbox...) on the early model G6's. The included adapter elbow (3") was too large for the throttle body (2.75"). I called K&N and they were helpful but didn't have a solution - so I'm ordering a silicone adapter from another site to bridge the gap. Only thing I really wasn't happy with was the fit of the heat shield box around the filter - it doesn't seal the area worth a hoot. Either dig out your welder or order a rain sock for the filter. The engineers at K&N did request that I photo document the install and the issues so they can review and possibly incorporate changes to the instructions / parts list, so they get an A in my book."

"These kits work. Although the installation of the heat shield was a little more difficult than I anticipated, the end result is great. It looks good, and performs even better. Initial results: more power at about 3000rpm and about 2 miles/gallon increased economy."

"This K&N is the unit to get. Everything about it was top notch. It fits well & has everything needed to make it work. And boy does it work. I felt all of the 14 1/2 HP it claims to add to this 303 HP 5.3 LS4. This 07 MC SS runs like its a Z28, TA or GT. I can't wait to take a long trip and see what difference it makes in hwy mileage. 0-60 is now right at close to 5 sec flat and 1/4 mile speed is just over 95 and this is with FRONT WHEEL DRIVE!!! I asked a competitor, who claimed they could beat any price, to beat Autoanything's price, they only could say SORRY. Fast shipping, packed well, great low price! What more can one ask for?"

"Filter shipped and arrived as advertised. Install instructions were thorough and easy to follow. Only glitch was one missing hose clamp easily replaced for $1.50 at the local parts store. Sounds great with a noticeable increase in horsepower and gas mileage."

"the series 77 intake was an easy install on my 00 dak w/4.7, it looks great and sounds awesome. doubt theres any performance increase since the factory intake is basically the same thing. the difference being the 4.7s air resonator and flat filter. did i mention that it sounds awesome, cuz it does!"

"The product arrived within days of placing the order. I had a little bit of difficulty with the fitment of some of the hoses, but it wasn't that bad. Once installed, the CAI looks great, sounds great, and it gave my car that little extra kick that it needed. This is one modification that I would recommend."

"The K&N 63 series looks and performs great. The vehicle seems more responsive throughout the power band, seems to increase avg. fuel economy and fits flush to vehicle. The instructions for installation were easy to follow and fairly accurate; the time of installation was approx. less than an hour."

"My K&N fipk Gen II was very easy to install, even for a shadetree mechanic like myself. You can really hear the engine rumble when you accelerate. I am hoping for a bit better gas mileage from it, but know that I will have to nurse the gas pedal. Overall very happy so far with the K&N. Great looking accesory from a well-known company."

"This unit installed in just under an hour, not bad for the first time. The unit came with everything needed, however the 4 clamps that came with it were all the same size which I think is a mistake. The 2 for the intake should have been a bit larger so I used the original clamps that were on it and all worked out fine. Love the sound and feel more power, not sure if I notice an increase in gas mileage or not. Would recommend to anyone."

"I have a 05 Cadillac CTS v. The installation was easy once I got the old air box off. I had to bend more twist in the short bracket in order to get the bolt hole and slot in the bracket to fit properly. I haven't checked the sealing as of yet. it makes a little more noise, but not a problem. I didn't notice any differance in power, but I think the best indication will be gas milage. I can get 23-24 mpg at 70mph, we shall see if it improves. if i can control my right foot."

"I can say that K&N definately makes sure not to dissapoint any one that purchase their products. I installed the K&N TYPHOON CCAI on my Acura TSX and you can definately feel the difference when you hit it, and the sound is awsome specialy when your hauling ass. The installation is simple enough for any one to install it by themselves all you need are basic tools.overall I'm satisfied with the purchase I made is good enough for me and at good pri$e."
