"I've always put K&N intakes on all my vehicles. They make a noticeable difference in power and acceleration. I installed this on my chevy 2500HD and immediately noticed alot more pull all the way through the rpm band."

"I have a 2004, 4.7L dakota and recently put larger tires on it. My gas mileage dropped to ~11-12mpg/city. After getting the computer reset I still only got ~13-14mpg at best. After installing the K&N system I now average 16.6mpg/city. It will pay for itself within the year! Throttle response seems to have improved slightly as well. It is slightly louder, but not noticeable after the truck is warmed up. Looks great too!"

"Quality of parts has improved, instlled one silicone now for hoses, looks better, fits nicer. Worst part of job is still installing rubber seal on metal shroud. All in all an excellent product."

"I just installed my air intake system a few days ago. I think the system looks and sound great. I haven't had a chance to see if my gas mileage has improved. It seems like there's more horse power, when I step on the gas don't really know how much more,hopefuly alot. I hope it was worth buying the system for my F-150 XLT 2000."

"The FIPK was just installed yesterday - a good test will come tomorrow on the highway - but initially note that minor adjustments had to be made to align bolt holes to get it to fit. Note a bit of turbo noise that was not there previously - but not much noticeable."

"This is the third vehicle in less than 6 months that we have installed a K&N Cold Air Intake system on. I could not believe the increase in performance and gas milage. My son got me hooked on this, and I thought he was blowing smoke when he was telling me he wanted one. So I thought ok. Well minutes after the install, I was sold. We then went and put a custom tuned exhaust on his truck. I already had the exhaust first on mine but adding the K&N was worth the price. I brag to everyone I know about this product. I guess that sometimes when a 16 year old kids tell you something it is worth listening to him. It was worth it this time. Pat"

"My first modification to my 96 Mustang GT. Came on time as scheduled and I installed it that day! I didn't have the necessary drill bit of 11/16 for my external temp sensor, so I had to make due with what I had. Other than that, it just took little shifting to fit into place (I didn't remove the strut bar). Started it up and drop around. Deeper, throatier sound and throttle response was excellent. Noticed an increase in fuel mileage as well! I'm a true loyal fan of K&N now with two successful products from them! (the other being my Gran Am) Thanks a bunch Auto Anything and K&N!"

"Product fit exactly like it should have! One issue was some minor clearancing of the fan shroud to fit the larger air intake pipe. Very good sound and you can feel the throttle response difference. Very quick to install took only 30 minutes!"

"Acceleration improved and is much louder above 2500rpm RPM while commuting at 65 dropped from ~2200 to ~2000 Gas milage improved ~ 1.5 mpg from 19 to 20.5 (first tank) Minor problems with fittings. Bolt holes for Mass Flow Sensor were 1 mm off and required work on the sensor to fit it. No other assembly problems it took 2.5 hours (1.5 hours playing with the sensor and dremmiling the holes to match) California emmisions sticker, improved acceleration, and better gas milage make it a good deal."

"I have a little bit of mechanical ability, so the installation went alright for me. The instructions were step-by-step and the pictures were a life-saver, although the pictures could have been a little better. It seems to be of high quality and looks great. It does seem to have more power with all that open air space. I haven't checked the gas mileage yet. It was a great bargain and over a $100 cheaper than I could get it locally."

"Good price, but execess noise after acceleration. Installed the intake correctly following the directions. when slowing down after accelleration I hear whistling when in motion. Checked all the clamps and there are no leaks from the intake. Previously purchased a K&N intake for a manual 2000 ZX2 and had no problems ith execess noise. I am wondering if the automatic has a part to play in more are drawn without a gap in acceleration like a manual may allow."

"Product is great! Havent really noticed that much difference in HP with the intake and a chip. However just the change in sound with acceleration is worth the money. I didn't think an intake would change the sound, but it defineately sounds awesome (truck has stock exhaust)."

"After paying off my car a while back, I wanted get better gas mileage. So I did some investigation and found K&N air-intake would be my best way of getting increase in both power and fuel. After my brother-in-law, Eric and I installed the new unit. I took it for a test drive, believe me the car is a thing of beauty. More power sounds great. Next I drove down state Georgia and my gas mileage is even better. If your looking to make improvements to your car please buy K&N for you car."

"Product was shipped very quickly. Instructions were excellent. They weren't just written steps that would work on all vehicles. There was actually a picture and information of a vehicle of the exact same type and year as mine. Fuel mileage was helped a little bit on my car, estimated 1 to 2 on the highway, although power was greatly improved and throttle response really quickend up."

"This kit was extremely easy to install in under an hour with no experience at all. I have had the kit installed for about a week and a half now and I have already noticed an increase in MPG by a little over 1. It's not much of an increase but I have also been a little heavy on the gas due to the awesome, deep sound the kit gives the engine. I noticed an immediate increase in HP - not much, but enough that I noticed it. Overall, this is a great kit. It could look a little better under the hood but I guess I should have gone with the more expensive model if I wanted looks. K&N is a great name and I love their products."

"i love this thing. i love it so much im going to install one on each of my cars. you can really feal the diff and if you put it on a 4 banger you can hear the diff. love it and it was so easy to use. me and so buddys bet on how long it would take to install i did it in 15 min"
