"Good quality. Some mechanical ability helps a lot with this installation. Some things are not intuitive and instructions are vague.
Only real complaint is with fit of the airbox, could be tighter and the insulation strip doesn't hold around the sharp corners of the box.
Looks great, from other reviews expected it to be noisy but to me it's not that bad.
Installed in tandem with TRD headers, hard to gauge benefit but end result is much improved power and torque."

"I read the reviews for this product before I ordered it, and sure enough, the reviews were right on. I am getting false computer readings quite often. I went to the Cadillac garage and asked them how to reset the computer and they said that there is no reset button and I would have to bring it in so they could hook it up to their computer to reset. That's not going to happen so I guess I'll keep the darn thing on until I get tired of seeing the lights lite up on the dashboard.

"I was a little nervous about installation but the $200 price tag for labor and the testimonies I read that it was gravy made me give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised. About an hour. I highly recommend purchasing this product. Definitely an increase in power and a cool up tick in roar."

"Got the unit installed. It took some time but a big difference over the stock unit. The car breathes so much better at highway speed. Alot less effort on the engine.
The Dyno Chart says +28 HP at 5500 rpm. I can tell upon speeds past 40mph on hard acceleration. Sounds real good , can't wait to add the chip and upgrade the exhaust.

"I bought the K&n kit to help the truck breath better and it works as designed. I took about 10 LBs or plastic off. The intake makes a lot of noise about 3000rpm but performance is never quite. The nice part is the Gas Mileage has gone up 1-2 miles per gallon. I get about 19 now. Nice side benefit. Kit works as advertized you cant ask much more than that!"

"I recently purchased a Travel Trailer. My 2002 Envoy 4.2 was pretty maxed out for towing. A friend told me about the K & N kit. I thought what the heck, try it. Boy was he right.I now have a big increase in Horsepower as well as an increase in Fuel economy. When running at or near the speed limit and it kicks in, it is like the Supercharger on my Grand Prix. Love it!!"

"The intake kit was easy to install, it took about 30 minutes, and really improved throttle response. It seems like it increased horsepower as well. After I installed the intake, I took my Lightning out, and from a standing start, I mashed the pedal and the truck roasted the tires through first gear and almost all of second. You can really hear the supercharger whine now. Nice kit and a great price from Autoanything."

"The unit was packed very well and was in A1 shape when I got it.The unit was quite straight forward as to where things went until I got to the mass air sensor installation. The instructions said to assemble it as the picture showed. The only thing the pic showed was the unit already assembled and no explanation as to what to remove and what to replace.
I was able to figure it out finally and proceed with the install. The directions should be a little more explicit for people who are a little less mechanicly inclined. Over all I love the unit and am happy with the results."

"Excellent product, requires attention to detail in order to install correctly (as the installation instructions provided are a tad vague). First, make sure to sort out the adapter-to-MAF mounting bolts before putting things together. One bolt will be a bit shorter than the others, and that bolt will be the one that fits top-left (next to the white plastic emissions vent hose elbow fitting that is supplied with the K&N kit). Second, make sure to loosen your battery tiedown a bit and move the battery away from the filter so that they don't rub against each other. Other than these two things (which cost me a bit of extra time to re-do) the installation process is a snap. The sound coming from the new air filter under part/full throttle is awesome and the throttle response is now super-crisp!"

"Love high performance, high flow air intake systems. I hate restrictions on engines so when I found out they made one for my 2006 dodge durango, I knew I had to have one, with that being said, I am really pleased w/my new k&n high flow air filter. It sounds and looks good on the motor. It feels like their might be more power but can't say for sure for I have not dyno tested it for myself. Let's face it an extra 17 horse power isn't really all that much but ill take it for I am all about high performance upgrades.the installation was a breeze if you know your way around a motor. Even for weekend machanic. You shouldn't have any problems. Quality fit and finish are top notch. If your looking for some excitment in your driving expierence,I would highly recommend it. Great product from a well respected name in high performance products, CHRIS."
