"It was somewhat easy to install except fo figuring out where certain bolts went. The power increase was noticable but still haven't driven enough to check fuel consumption. Other than that I am very pleased."

"Have a buddy to help. Have a blow dryer close by to warm up the fittings. It took about an hour and a half. I get better gas mileage and way more horsepower from the intake itself. When getting on it the intake is loud and sounds good. i would recommend buying it."

"Gave the truck some power on the top end. The air intake is louder now. More interior noise from the grunt of the 2.2 breathing more air. Best bet is just to buy the replacement filter for the stock airbox. Fitment was not the greatest."

Bit of a pain to install-but worth the time

"Everthing is tight under the hood of a 350z and this was no exception. Took abot 2 hours to install but I was being very careful to do it right and not scratch/break anything. Intake noise is noteably louder under full throttle but I notice little difference at crusing and normal day to day driving. The main difference in power I see was the ability to actually break traction and wind up enough engine speed on the low end to "smoke" the tires. Previous, the tires would spin, but not enough to produce smoke and fishtailing. What a difference a few horses make."

"Not a bad update. Sounds like you have cowl induction actually (for us old schoolers). Does provide some pep, however to complete the package, better exhaust management, and program the computer for the real deal. My application is not for racing, but increase torque/HP for towing purposes. 4/5 stars? They got 'dinged' one star as the instructions have small pictures under a shop light, and they are in lower grain resolution black and white pictures. Could be better, but I figured it out real quick. Install time was 1 1/2 hours just to be cautious. Felt immediate performance boost albeit small one. Would Buy again."

"When i intalled the FIPK kit i noticed a big difference in power and torque. I also notice that i saved gas as well. It easy to intall too , even though the direction we very small and hard to make out. I enjoy this product and i recieved it in 5 days after i ordered. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to save gas and get the most out of your engine."

"I bought this intake for my 2004 Chevy Colorado. The installation took a lot longer than expected. That being said, the assembly went together well and fit nicely. I can definately tell a performace boost, with better acceleration on the highway. I also notice that at 60 mph my truck runs about 500 rpm less than it used to."
