"The kit came as expected. I wanted more sound out of my 01 GT mustang which was my main reason for the purchase. I must say that couldn't tell as huge of a difference as I was reading in some of the other reviews. I already had a flowmaster installed. There really wasn't much of a difference. Maybe at 4000 rpm a little bit more of a roar. It was my first time to install an intake and it did take a total of 1.5 hours to get the old out and the new one in just as it stated. The instructions were good and the kit fit just right. Cheapest price I could find. Performance you can tell a little improvement but only when you rev up to the higher rpm's. In general I'm still happy about the purchase."

Amazing

"Wow!!! Simply Amazing. Added this to my '07 v6 Coupe Mustang The horse power is amazing, the engine roars, I feel I can get a lot more speed out of each gear ... hitting 60s in 3rd at about 5.9k rpm (flip the six upside down) Shifting is smoother My cousin and I popped it in real quick. I let him drive it on the way to the garage before we put it in. And we both test drove it after ... it's beastly! So worth the money!!"

"Intake greatly helps throttle response and pickup in the low rpm range. Peak power kicks in close to redline but helps into second gear. Sound is a loud, intimidating growl low and a sharp scream under full throttle. Great product that can help you get that little extra bit of speed."

"it was a breeze to install. only complaint is that one of the clamps they sent with it was too small, however you can use the old one from the stock intake. my engine has a great deep and aggressive sound to it now. there hasn't been any noticable increase in power. overall so far it has been an awesome intake."

"This upgrade is a definite upgrade as far as the sound goes. Gives a great and much needed purr. There is a noticeable increase in power, especially at the lower end of the power curve, and a definite plus above 4200 rpms. No notice yet on fuel economy increases. Install is easy and clean, but may need a little more room for the air temperature sensor cord prior to plugging it into the new intake port. Took about 1 hour total. Good product, well worth the money."

"As soon as I installed this product I could feel the difference! The install process took about 45 minutes to a hour for me because I have never really done anything like this before. Sounds great and the performance increase was even sweeter. The only con I could think of was that they didn't offer the blue color for my car :("

"The K&N Series 63 CAI kit was easy to install and the performance was noticebale by the seat of the pants feel. I like the improved exhaust snarl sound during hard acceleration or at WOT and it is quiet during normal driving conditions. The directions could use clearer pictures to show in detail which way the brackets and seals should be oriented. I would recommend this system to anyone that owns a '05 to '08 Charger R/T."

"The K&N kit was installed on an 04 K1500 Suburban with a 3:73 rear and 104K miles. Covering the same route with the same fuel at the same speed etc., the mpg went from 16.9 mpg to 18.9. Installation was slow as the MAF removal gave me a hard time. Positioning the intake tube, lining up and tightning the clamps at the throttle body was becoming frustrating, until my wife held the tube in place. Now that I've done one the next installation might be quicker."

"The intake noticeable enhanced throttle response, and increased my MPG by about 1. I think the cold air screen could be improved as it seems to be a poor fit/seal, I wonder what hot weather will do to performance. Overall I would recommend this product."

"Got one for my 97 toyota 4runner. The new air filter itself is much bigger than the factory one, however the new intake when installed will accually open up a lot space around the engine where the factory housing used to be."

"Easy to install, cant complain about the instructions ( one or two parts had me guessing) noticed about .5- 1.5 mpg increase depending on speed on hwy, On my hemi 05 durango that equals about a gallon or 20 miles more per tank so it will pay for itself soon. Very quiet below 2.5k rpms then the monster roars loudly :) (my girl loved the look on my face as I grinned devishly) so for the first week or so you wont see any fuel savings as you will be floorin' it to feel the increase power that is there. I noticed slightly quicker response on dead stop acceleration, at speed my D rolls much faster through the digits on command. I debated for almost 2 years whether or not to get one, now I know I should have gotten one 720 days ago. I highly recommand and auto anything got my order to me on time and when promised actually for the same intake from discount auto was 180 dollars more and a 2 week wait, i got mine in 3 days..."

"Order and purchase was simple and the kit arrived on the scheduled date. Installation was fairly simple in under 2 hours. K&N's instructions were easy to follow, however it would be helpful if the included (or web page)exploded assembly diagram was larger so it would be easier to see. Noticeable improvement in throttle response and pickup on the 2.7L 5-speed manual trans 4x4. Waiting to calc gas mileage improvement after a full tank. By comparison, the FIPK came wrapped well in a box about three times larger than necessary for the contents; the removed factory intake assembly barely fit back in the FIPK box. Overall a great product. Makes you wonder why Toyota doesn't save a ton of plastic and cut a deal with K&N to put FIPKs on at the factory."

"I HAVE RAN ONLY ONE TANK OF GAS THROUGH THE TRUCK WITH THE NEW FILTER AND HAVE'NT NOTICED ANY CHANGE IN GAS MILEAGE. THAT IS THE ONLY REASON THAT I BOUGHT IT. I WILL KEEP LOOKING AND HOPEFULLY IT WILL IMPROVE."
