"This install was fairly easy, although the rubber lip isn't pre-bent for the turns required which was a little annoying. I haven't seen any noticable power increase yet and haven't tracked the mileage. But, it has made it sound meaner, if that counts for anything."

"gas improved 2 mpg at least. i even watched the gas go up .2 when i floored it. it sounds awesome. however, i highly reccomend the airaid tbs. this combo gives near peak power tweaks as far as the intake manifold goes. noticed gains in tourque and passing power. best spent $219 yet. Thanks"

"I was impressed with the fit and finish of all the parts. The directions were clear and easy to understand, everything went together perfectly. I noticed increased throttle response and a little louder engine noise. I only have gone through one tank of gas, so I can't really comment on any increase in fuel economy. Overall a very good performance modification, definitely worth the money/would recommend. Greg"

"Installation of the K&N FIPK Air Intake was quick and easy. All parts were included and fit properly. Instructions were clear. I haven't driven it enough yet to notice a difference in performance, but it does produce a nice throaty sound when I step on the gas."

"Delivery of the product was super fast. I had it within 48 hours. Unbelievable! Had a few issues installing the unit. One critical bolt was missing. Once this was solved it went together seamlessly. The jury is out on the gas mileage thing but the product really rocks. Totally changes the performance dynamic of this truck. It sounds, feels and acts like I picked up 50 HP Now I know this is not realistic but the the truck just runs and shifts so much better. Great investment!"

"very easy install. put it on and took it for a short ride. felt an improvment in acceleration. could hear the increased sound of air under the hood. it seems like it made the exhaust sound better. i also have a cai on y 05 f150. that was a very easy install. gas mileage improved as did performance. i would do both again."

"it was easy to install with the help of a certified mechanic, got stuck in a few areas, but figured it out, yes i do have more power and will be watching my gas mileage..And by the way, my 2007 tundra 5.7 sounds like a muscle car..love the sound"

"I received my 77series in less than a week, installed it immediately onto my 4.7 V8. I have been very impressed with the throttle response, it seemed to compliment my 44series Flowmaster catback system prev installed. Now the performance has significantly improved and I got Pony GT's on the run around town. If you are looking for some increased muscle these two are it for you. "easy to install. in 35 min my car was ready for a test drive. i really felt that it works after i drove about 30 miles. not a huge gain in hp, but defenitly a very nice gain, and very nice sound. didin't had time to figure it out about the gas milleage, but so far didin't seemd to got any worse. will buy another one for my next car."

"I got this FIPK Air Intake for christmas and I put it on that day, the Installation was pretty easy, and the directions made sense if you follow them exactly, I just didnt like the small pictures. As for the performance part, it gives my engine a deeper tone when I get on it and I have seen a improvement in the gas mileage. I really love it."

"This kit was easy to install, the rubber seal could have been designed better. Installation took about an hour. The power increase was noticable right away. My fuel milage increased slightly, not as much as I expected."

"This intake system did make a difference especially when coupled with a magnaflow muffler. The worst part of the installation was installing the trim. Took longer than everything else to do. Never did get the inside trim on. It's a nightmare. If I was buying again I would buy someone elses for that reason alone."

"I installed this on a 1993 Suburban along with a throttle body spacer. The installation was fairly easy, but if I hadn't used the spacer it would have been even easier. The difference was immediate and noticeable. Of course, being a plastic intake tube it's louder, but I like it that way. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is the price. Of course, I bought it so I thought it was worth it to me. This is the second K&N intake kit I have bought, and probably not the last."

"The difference in sound between the stock air intake and the K&N 77 Series is exactly what I was looking for. There is no doubt that the performance has increased in my 2007 Dodge Nitro, now I just hope it will translate into a few more miles per gallon if I can lay off the accelerator."
