"Easy to install. Noticed a big difference in power and the sound it makes....whoa awesome! Still havent noticed a fuel economy increase, but that could have to do with having a little bit of lead foot lately! Overall very pleased!"

"I am very happy with my K&N FIPK. It took me less than an hour to install on my 4.0L '99 Jeep Wrangler. I had no problems with the install and I am not much of an auto mechanic. I am running 31x10.50 BF Goodrich TA's, with a factory Dana 44 Trac Lock rear, Banks Torque Tube Header and Cat Back system but still have the original head pipe and cat converter. All together I have much better throttle response, especially at lower speeds. My gas mileage has improved, and overall drivability is outstanding. I do not find the FIPK to be noisy under the hood."

"I recently installed the filter system on my 2000 Ford F150 w/ V6 engine and standard tranny. I had no problem installing the unit simply because of the detailed step-by-step instructions. The sound of the engine roars at about 3500 RPM like a true hi-performance engine. As for the gas mileage, I don't know... I've been flooring it most of the time!!!"

"I gained 1 to 1 1/2 MPG HWY but can't tell any difference city. The noise especially when trans down to 3rd gear pulling a hill at 50-65 MPH is really louder than I expected. Happy with the HWY MPG increase but not happy with the loud noise when motor is pulling."

"Installation was simple. Sounds really good. When you stomp it you know something is under the hood. Absolutely no increase in MPG although nothing short of trimming 1000 pounds off of this truck will increase MPG. Then you would have a 1/2 ton. Not sure about performance, maybe."

"This is the single best improvement I could make to my truck towing. Better mileage, more power makes it easier to tow my 4500# travel trailer. I went from 55-60 mph to 65-70; gas mileage from
6 to 8.5. Great!!"

"I have a 04' Monte Carlo SS Once I put it in and turned the car on, It has this deep, full bodied sound when you stomp on it! So far the MPG have went up as well as the horse power! But. . . The way the air filter hangs on the air tube puts a lot of strain on the connections. It pulled a part on the rubber boot. One other thing is, there is not enough mounting areas where the CPU is housed. While driving down some what rough roads, I can hear a rattle! It is the front part of the kit. For the most part I am satisfied with my purchase!"

"The K&N Cold Air Kit I ordered for my boyfriend's 2004 Chevy Avalanche works wonders. It was very easy to install and fit perfect. He also has a K&N Cold Air Kit for his 1995 Chevy Camaro Z28 and has bragged about how much he loves it since he purchased it. I had no problem choosing a birthday gift for him and he could not wait to install it. After I drove it myself, I noticed an increase in power and a new roar about the motor that sounds great."

"Installation is easy took 30 minutes. Fitup is pretty good but was tight on radiator shroud for a 5.3 Liter 2003 Chevy 1/2 ton. I shimmed it with rubber I had around, but others may want to trim the shroud back. Power feels much better as does fuel economy. Planning to chassis dyno in the next few weeks to see improvement since I have a before dyno run to compare it with. I had wanted the kit for a while and would recommend it as a first power adder for people with limited installation experience. Had them before and all worked well."
