"A bit louder, but seems to have better throttle response. Gas mileage is about 1.5- 2 MPG better. Ordered the Power Aid throttle spacer as well and with the 5.9 liter MPFI engine on the Dodge was an absolute BEAR to install. Barely fits with a considerable amount of coaxing."

"Positives: The intake works great. I can feel a good difference in power at the top end and it sounds good too. The K&N looks good in my truck as well. Negatives: Since the kit I bought is used on numerous vehicles, the intructions were confusing. I gave up on them and just used common sense. Also I didnt like the fact that on my application a whole saw bit and a drill was needed. Not a common tool so made things little frustating. Overall, the intake is great. Just read the instuctions before you tear off your stock intake so you dont have to re-install it to go find a speacial tool if needed."

"I have this system on my 4.0L wrangler for 2 weeks. It is all good! Easy assembly and instructions. I am inclined now to puch the gears further (3 to 4000 RPM) just to hear the great sound and feel the additional power. I am now looking for upgrading my other cars with the same type set-up. Larry"

"My B-3000 has really been changed. The extra power is supposed to be 5 HP, but seems like more. Gas mileage has not changed, when I am not useing the extra power. (flooring it) The intake noise is very noticeable under load."

Feeeeel the Power

"Very easy to install!! i have never touched anything on my engine before and i was able to do this all by myself. The instructions were great, and there was a real picture for every step. This was the first mod i put into my truck and i deffinetly noticed a power gain. It also gives it a lower/louder sound. This K&N and an aftermarket muffler(i went with Flowmaster 40) are the perfect pair. Another thing i love about the filter is that it is reusable! Just clean it and oil it up and youre good to go, no more buying those floppy paper filters. If i ever get another truck, this will be the first thing i buy."

"It was as easy to install as stated. This is coming from someone who has never installed anything like this before. Everyone who knows me is shocked when I tell them what I did. As far as performance you can feel the extra HP and it sounds great. My first mileage check came in up slightly to 17.5 mpg on my 2004 Silverado. I'm very please with the product and the instructions couldn't have been any simpler."
