"Made my V6 sound like a V8. Gave me roughly 3-4 more miles to the gallon. Only problem with it is it makes a whistling noise at a certain rpm that is kind of annoying. I think its just the sound of the air sucking through some of the holes in the filter..."

"After installing the K&N I could tell an increase in horsepower and the sound is good. Haven't driven enough to detect any better gas millage. I'm not real good at working under the hood of a vehicle but this unit was fairly simple to install. The instructions that came with the unit are easy to read and follow."

Love my new K&N FIPK

"I just put the 57-3038 K&N FIPK on my GMC pickup. Although it was a bit tricky to install and took over 2 hours, there was a very noticeable improvement in throttle response. It is now instantaneous across the rev band. I alreaady had a high performance exhaust system, and the kit really helped it breathe. It is hard to tell about the horsepower increase, which is more apparent at higher rpm's, but driveability is greatly improved. Looks great, almost like it was custom made, and definitely worth the money, especially at the price I got from Auto Anything, and free shipping !!! Greg "

FIPK for 05 Expedition

"As with the rest of the K&N lineup, I am completely impressed and satisfied with this product. I've used AirRaid intakes on other vehicles and was equally satisified, however, for the 05 Expedition, the price of a gen 2 FIPK can't be beat. A definite immediate increase in power, especially off the line. It is too early to tell for increased fuel milage as I've only had it installed for two days, but it looks promising thusfar! Allocate enough time for installation, about 1.5 hours as the throttle body needs removed. The instructions are good, but there are many references to, "see attached photo", which are grainy and difficult to see, especially to determine which bolt/washer/nut combination. Overall completely satisfied with the purchase."

"Received the order very quickly. Installation was a snap - 45 minutes or less. Responsiveness improvement was noticeable immediately. Sound is awesome over 2500 rpm. Can't comment yet on mpg - I've spent to much time listening to the roar!"

"I have installed the K&N cool air intake on my 05' Colorado. Inside the cab is loud, even louder outside, I love the sound my truck makes in the mid-range. I could immediately feel the quicker throttle response and Hp gain off the line."

"Haven't had any problems so far. Installed in about 2.5 hrs (I don't know much more than changing oil or a tire). It really sounds good when you punch the pedal. My MPG went from about 12.5/14.5 to 15/17.5"

"Pretty easy to install. Worked great out of the box. My 3.5L I5 really roars now from half throttle to wide open. When I drive conservatively, I think I'm getting a bit more mpg. So far, it seems like a great performance add-on."
