"Simply the best system out there. Allows instant turbo spool up, gets 2.5 mpg more than the Ford filter (14.6 vs 18.1) and 1.2 mpg better than the AFE system. I'll never use any other system. AutoAnything had the best price on the product."

"Installed the intake in less than an hour. easy process with excelent instructions. no sound difference at idle but stomp on the gas and it sounds great. Installing catback ehhaust now so to soon to tell any performance differences but it sounds great just with the intake . gregg"

"IT WAS VERY EASY TO INSTALL IT ONLY TOOK ME ABOUT 20 MIN FROM START TO FINISH. THE ONLY HARD PART WAS THE SEAL AROUND THE HEAT SHIELD. USE A HAMMER TO POUND IT IN TO PLACE AND YOU WILL SAVE YOURSELF A HEADACHE. I NOTICED A BIG DIFFERENCE WHEN TOWING A TRAILER W/ AN ATV AFTER THE INSTALL. THIS IS NO B.S. AUTOANYTHING WAS AT LEAST $30.00 LESS THAN ANYONE ELSE W/ S/H. I WILL GO TO THEM FIRST BEFOR I LOOK ANYWHERE ELSE."

"Initially I couldn't feel the difference with the aftermarket intake. But once I got on the gas I definitely fealt the extra horsepower not to mention the extra "throatiness" (not a word) of the K&N."

"Took about 2 hours to install since I know very little about cars. I immediately noticed a huskier sound in my Ford Expedition 5.6L with more jump and responsiveness. The car doesn't seem to labor as much. Well worth the money."

"Overall I am pleased with the increase in torque and performance, unfortunately you get used to it after a while. I did the installation myself and it could have gone smoother. This install for my '02 Tacoma required modification (drilling) of the intake tube. Also, if your kit comes with plastic connectors for the hoses, I strongly suggest you upgrade to metal connectors. (When screwing the plastic connector into the metal nut, which is molded into the intake tube, the plastic connector broke....big headache. If you prefer to do it yourself over a professional install, do yourself a favor and get all the necessary tools and upgraded parts before starting!"

2004 Ford F150 Gets more power!

"I had trouble pulling my boat with the 4.6L 2004 F150. After I installed the K&N Air Intake there was a huge change in power. It was immediately noticeable. Gas mileage was increased by 2 miles per gallon. Best money spent."

"I have a 1998 T-100 v-6 that I purchased new. It was underpowered so I added a TRD supercharger which made a huge difference in power and acceleration. I have had a K & N filter in the factory intake setup which a little difference in engine performance. When I recently added thge K&N FIPK intake systems the differnence in power and immediated acceleration (no lag) what PHENOMINAL!!! I should have done this 7 yrs ago when I installed the supercharger."

"I installed the FIPK on my 2003 Expedition a couple weeks ago. Since then I have noticed not only HP increase, especially passing acceleration, also MPG increase of 1-2 MPG. Easy to install, took about 1 hour."

"I have an 01 Ford F150 super cab with a 4.2L V6 engine. I first added a flow master exhaust. I had the stock 2.5" tail pipe increased to 3.5" wide. That gave me some sound and slight performance. Months later I added the K&N intake. After 2 tanks of gas, the millage is not as noticeable as I had hoped. On the other hand the performance is very noticeable. I love getting on the freeway and stepping on the gas. The K&N FIPK air intake is definitely worth the money. Over all the mileage is about 1/2-1 mpg increase but more torque and horse power from the rear end of the truck is where the performance is noticeable. Great Product!"

"The kit was very easy to install, especially the pictures rather than just written instructions. Installed on a 2000 Ranger with a 4.0 engine & 5 spd. Way more responsive, I do a lot less down shifting. I find I'm using less gas in town, I have yet to calculate the difference but it is noticeable."
