"The KN intake is really nice. The added hp isn't huge,but you can definitly feel the added power. I can really feel the difference when I land on the gas. the intake gives the motor a better sound too. I haven't checked my mpg yet, so I don't know how much better it is."

"This short ram intake ( its what I call it )is the best performance mod I have installed on my car.I own a 2005 MonteCarlo SS Supercharged 3.8 which i thought was fast stock but after installation of this intake the throttle response is without any lag with a major boost in horsepower.All that and an increase of 6 mpg in mileage.I should have done this as soon as I bought this car. K/N Rocks!!!!"

"I installed this product on a 2004 gmc w/ 5.3 litter. Throttle time improved and the engine seems to run smoother. install was simple. did not improve gas millage and I drive a lot of highway."

"This looks like a high quality system that installs quickly. The instructions could be a little clearer on which nuts and screws to use where but it's manageable. Nice big filter unit that should flow a lot of air on my Lightning motor."

"I recently purcharsed the K&N air intake system for my 2001 V6 Mustang. I have to be honest, I did not notice much of a difference at first. But when you really step on the gas, you can feel and hear the difference in power. Haven't had it long enough yet to tell a difference in gas mileage, but I hope I also get that added benefit. I recommend this product as a cool upgrade to any base mustang!"

"My k&n has really boosted the performance and sound of my mustang. I've had it for a few weeks and as soon as i installed it (it only took about an hour or so)i could feel the extra power and better sound. My tank has lasted a little bit more than it did before, but the product is amazing. I would recommend it to anyone who wants better performance, more mpg, and more power."

"delivery took 5 business days, dont know why, but it WAS FREE. the install took about 30 minutes. the sound is very throaty, throttle response seems to be improved. i havent had it to the track since the install, but the power through 2nd gear is noticable."

"Pretty easy install. A bracket was missing from the kit so I had to wait an extra week for it to come in but it was K&N's fault. There is a deffinate performance increase, but not as much as I was expecting with fuel mileage. I was hoping for a full MPG better but probably only getting about 1/2 MPG, but every little bit helps"
