"Good kit, the tools they say you need is incomplete so be ready for that, other than that easy to install noticable power gain, pretty good on fuel savings i get about 60miles more a tank."

"We already had a lot of horsepower (GTO 5.7, 350 Horses), but we can really tell the differance with our new intake system, and its saving us gas too, considering how much we floor it. It also gives her a great "growl" sound, which is so cool."

"Had wanted to get a K&N filter for a while for my Mustang. It is a quality product. Easy and quick install. Just ran first tank of gas thru car with it and did see an increase in gas mileage even with a souped up engine that has to run premium gas. Recommend to anyone. I will be installing one on my truck next."

"I won't say that it doesn't do what they say, but humans must not be able to detect the horsepower boost advertised. I don't doubt that if I owned a Dyno I would see an increase. I just can't notice any real difference other than sound. It does sound throaty at the exhaust and you can hear your engine suck in more air which can't be bad.....so."

"The kit was a great fit, noticable HP gain, a couple of mpg on the first check, however if they say this is the quiet one I would hate to hear the loud one, In the Colorado, the whole cab resonates when you got it to the floor!"

"1.5-2 mpg gain and the hoursepower gain seems about right without a dyno. You can hear it working nicely too. Install required some extensive modification to the computer cover(had to flatten it and cut parts of it out in order for it to fit correctly) as well as having to find a different nut to fit the transmisiom stud. Other than that I am pleased with the product."

"I've had K&N intake kits before, and this one lives up to the standards. For everyday, slower city driving you won't notice a world of difference. However, when you need some quick throttle response, I can feel a slight improvement. The kit gives your car a cool deep rumble under heavy throttle, especially at fast highway speeds, but its hardly any louder during normal driving. I like it as much for the sound as I do the HP increase. The Unit was a bit cumbersome to install for a novice, but still took just over an hour with a simple socket set, screwdriver, and pliars."

"Very nice addition to the car. Noticable gains in acceleration and good sound to the engine. AutoAnything came through with the best price and had it delivered on time as scheduled. K & N instructions were clear and easy to follow. Took less than 90 minutes. Fit and finish were first rate. I reccomend AutoAnything and also K & N products."

"The installation on my 2005 F150 was pretty much as described. K+N provided good step by step instuctions that make the installation relatively simple. I have noticed a slight improvement in sound and response, but have not had it long enough to rate the gas mileage. I also have the Magna Flow Exhaust on my truck and I think this made it sound a little better too. It really opens up your engine compartment allowing you better access to your engine for service. I had not seen this mentioned before, but some may like/not like the appearance once the factory components are removed. Overall, I rate it a 4 stars now for ease of installation. The minus one star is for the appearance."

"Recommend this product to help boost HP and quick acceleration,mid range power. No savings in gas :'( but lots of extra hp. Not sure if the cover does anything but rattle, tried several adjustments and still rattles so off it comes. Autoanything saved me 130.00 of NAPA's price and the were unsure if it was CA legal. Thanks for the fast shipping and good customer service."

"Hear more air noise on acceleration. Power seems about the same[have superchip] installed for 4 years so don't see the immediate increase in power suggested. Won't know about fuel milage until checked after interstate driving this weekend."

"Removing the stock parts from the 2004 Jeep grand Cherokee was a pain in the butt. Installing the K&N kit was a breeze. It took less than 30 minutes to install(after removing the stock parts). Immediate performance gain. The car roars like a race car when it hits 2.5k RPM. Fuel efficiency is also improving, although it is hard to resist flooring the car just to hear it roar. This is well worth the money and it just so much more entertainign to drive now. :)"

"I installed the K&N FIPK om my 2004 Tahoe 4.8 liter. Installation took 2-3 hours, but I wasn't in a hurry. No problems at all, everything fit and the instructions were clear. There is an expected increase in intake noise but I don't find that objectionable. The Tahoe seems to have improved low-end torque and is more responsive overall. I don't have enough time / miles on it to see any change in mpg."
