"kit came in one day, instuctions were a bit hazy but installation was a breeze. once in kit sounds great and huge increase in power, and so far a 1-2 mpg increase since getting it. really recomend this product."

"Really perked up the motor, has some real punch - Can definitely hear it. Dont know the mileage affect yet. About 1.5 to 2 hours to install - did it at night in the driveway (and it was cold out)."

"I recieved my K&N air intake kit about a week ago. I installed it on an 03 F150 and the kit was missing 2 hose clamps and a vital piece of hose. On top of the missing pieces my gas milage is still a crappy 11.5 mpg. But hey that thing sure can suck some air."

FIPK on a 2004 Ranger 3.0 L

"I installed the K&N FIPK on my 2004 Ranger/EDGE 3.0 L V6 .The install was very easy and took me about an hour to complete.All the hardware and parts provided fit perfect and snug.There is a noticeable increase in horse power,automatic tranny shifts much more smoother and at higher RPM's.I have noticed a slight increase in gas mileage but havent determined just how much more per tank.The K&N FIPK also works well with the Dynamax duel exhaust system that I had installed prior to installing the FIPK,makes the truck sound that much more aggressive when getting on the gas pedal hard and when pulling a loaded covered trailer it's a nice boost in pulling power going up hills and when driving directly into the wind.This is an easy do it yourself add on if you have a Ford Ranger with the 3.0 L V6 engine.I find it to be a good investment so far."

"Right after I installed it and went for a drive I could feel the power increase!! Haven't filled up since I've had it so I don't know how much it increased gas mileage yet. But I really love it!!"

"Overall satified with the product, it was pretty easy to install (except 1 screw was wrong size) only took about 20 minutes. The truck seems to have more power, not sure yet about milage. Only real problem is the noise, very annoying, sound like a loose belt or something."

"Immediate difference felt in throttle response, it has also smoothed out the rough idle that is common with the 4.6 Triton in the Ford Expedition and oh yeah it sounds awesome. Only advice I would pass on to K&N is to increase the size of the photo's in the directions, the written directions were right on the money as was the two hour install."

"I recently installed a K&N FIPK on my 98' Tacoma. I work for an auto manufacturer here in Georgetown, Kentucky and have really turned some heads when I pass people on the road. I also have a Dyna Flow exhaust system with duals out the rear. The throttle response is incredible for a 2.7 Liter 4WD Pickup. The sound out the pipes is Totally Awesome !! I found your kit very easy to install and the pictured instructions very detailed. The only improvement I would recommend is, the silicone hose that connects to the throttle body surge tank, could stand to be about 10 to 15 milimeters longer. The plastic tube fits a little too close to the spark plug wire lume on top of the valve cover,and it will be a little harder than usual,to change the plug wires during my next tune - up. I highly recommend your FIPK, it is the most "Bang For The Buck", at increasing your vehicle's performance ! Tony B."

"Easy to install, took about 30 minutes total install. Average Fuel mileage increase from 13.8mpg to 14.7mpg ... doesn't sound like much but if my math is correct that's 16.33 % increase. + the increase in power... yeah! and it sounds great. Buy it!!"
