"After about a month of driving with the new air intake setup with K&N, I am extremely happy with this purchase. On the first day I noticed a difference in acceleration and top end. The engine revs much easier. My gas milage seems uneffected by the new system."

"I found the K&N FIPK installation instructions to be very easy to follow and the pictures very helpful. Anyone with a wrench, screwdriver and allen wrench can install this product. I have been extremely happy with the performance of the product as well. I definitely can "feel" the increase in horsepower and like the "throaty" sound that is produced by the additional air entering the engine. Great product and best bang for your buck."

More Power, Better Gas Milage

"One of the best bolt on products you can by. Have seen a gain of 2 MPG in all driving conditions, HWY, City, Towing and even 4 wheel drive. You can clearly feel the power difference, makes passing much safer. Once you have reached cruising speed no noticiable interior sound. Under heavy loads and hard exceleration has a a deep throaty sound. If there is a better bang for you buck bolt on please let me know what it is."

"I love it. The sound is incredible. I already had the Superchips Power Programmer installed on my truck. The combination works and sounds great. Installation is easy. Getting rid of that air box and resonator allowed the engine to really breath. The cab noise under WOT is irritating to my wife - I LOVE it. I estimate 400hp. I'm averaging 13.5 mpg."

"I also bought an air raid Throttle body spacer It pushed the whole intake out an inch or so, just enough to push it into the fan. So I had to modify the whole thing, but I made it work. It reduced my cruising RPM's by about 200-300. 60mph-1600 45mph-1100. Put the pedel all thhe way down and it will get me right where I need to be. Exhaust is next, maby in the spring. It's a 4.8 2wd sierra vortec. Giddy up"

"The FIPK GenII I installed in my 2001 Chev Silverado drastically improved my throttle response and increased my mpg by 3 miles. Overall a great investment, but horsepower increase is minimal."

"The Cold Air Intake was not very hard to put on. It took about 90 minutes. There is a noticeable boost in horsepower, but I have yet to see any savings in gas mileage. I have used three tanks of gas since I installed the product and have yet to see any gas mileage improvements, in one case, I actually received worse gas mileage."

Overall I would rate this product as excellent, this is the third K&N Air intake system I have purchased and if I ever purchase another truck I would not hesitate to purchase another system"

"great product for my 2000 GMC yukon 5.3 w/ Jet performance progrmer. Has helped with my horse power but have not seen a difference in my fuel economy. Just received my JET Mass Air Flower Sensor today and hopefully will see an increase in fuel economy."
