"Awesome product. Superfast delivery and service from Auto-anything.
Directions from K&N lacking when they describe procedure for stock air cleaner removal. Everything else was very good. Low end throttle response for my 3.0 L, V-6 is excellent."

FORD MUSTANG V6 OWNER SAVE YOUR MONEY

"i did install a K&N FIPK on my 2002 mustang, the installation is easy took me less than 1 hour, based on performance i haven't felt any changes maybe there is but so little to feel, i suggest to buy K&N Air Filter stock custom fit and put a tornado fuel saver is much better and cheaper with same performance thats what i have before i installed the FIPK. based on material i can say that everything is good quality except the tubing on the picture it looks like made of rubber hose type but don't be fool it was made of plastic, i rather say that the stock is way better. last thing the MAF sensor will be exposed before it has a casing to protect it from water etc. but anyway i'm still happy with it. if you plan to buy it, i won't recommend it. "Easy to install. Sounds good & can feel the difference on acceleration. One HUGE drawback on this kit is that a 1&3/8 hole needed to be drilled into the air pipe for it to work on my truck!!!
Better be careful drilling!!!"

K&N FIPK 02 GMC Sierra 4x4 5.3L

"Very impressed withe the completeness of kit, ease of installation, the great price at auto-anything (60-80 less than anywhere else on the web!) and the fact that nothing had to be permanantly altered-great if you want to return the vehicle to stock for sale. I chose the K&N because I have been pleased with them in the past, and because they are a reputable company. It seems like anyone with access to tubing and a cone-filter makes a "cold air kit" these days, with big HP claims, etc. How many of them have realistic dyno charts right on their website, along with a million-mile waaranty? I noticed an immediate increase in throttle response, and the truck feels much quicker overall. The gains seem to be mostly centered around the upper midrange and top end (definitely pulls longer/harder on top). This worked ok for me because I also installed a swept-side Gibson exhaust, which adds low-end torque, helping to round out the package. The FIPK makes for a slight increase in intake noise in low-throttle sitations, but defintitely adds noise when the throttle opens up-like the world's biggest vacuum cleaner. Overall very impressed. The only two things I would change in my kit would be for the seal molding that goes around the airbox to be pre-molded to shape (somewhat difficult to get it to follow the curves of the air box), and for the coupler hose that goes between the throttle body and FIPK air tube to be longer (kind of a juggling act to get just the right amount of coupler on each side with the short length). Overall, great product, great price, and K&N's reputation-tough to beat for some bolt-on HP!"

"more involved with the installation then I expected, but still very easy with the step by step instructions. It produces a great sound especially when you get on it. HP gains are there, but are not overwhelmingly evident. It does save a little bit of gas. The main reason to go with this air filter though, is to preserve the life of your engine. It will breathe better, and therefore live longer."

"and a noticeable kick in the pants at WOT. Don't know about impact on fuel performance yet...installation was pretty easy despite the microscopic exploded diagram (which caused me to omit two "wavy" washers). The only hard part was getting the weatherstripping on the heat shield. It required a little more cutting than the instructions would lead you to believe."

"I installed one of these kits on my 2001 Ford Explorer Sport and it was kind of a hastle. My vehicle has two air lines, so the drilling a 5/7" hole wasnt that bad, the trouble came when I realized the air line was almost an inch in diameter, so I had to use a garden hose for one line and modifty the gromet a little to fit the other in. All in all I get about 50 more miles on a full tank of gas. Plus the sound it makes on high RPM's is unmistakable."

"I installed the intake in about 1 hour. The instructions were straight forward and easy to understand. The intaked did make a difference especially in the response when pushing the accelerator. Probably gave the car a little more torque and maybe 10 hp difference. Great product will put one in my wifes lexus rx 330. Tks autoanything."

My K&N CAI System on my 300

"I am very happy with my purchase of the CAI by K&N. The install time was not bad at all, took me every bit of 45 min. to install. The proformance is very noticable and the throttle response is quicker. The car feels whole, more solid and faster. I have not noticed the saving of gas as yet, I must be pressing kind of hard on the pedal. I just love the rore of the engine combined with CAI and the upgraded exhaust system. I recommend this purchase to anyone looking for hp gain."

"Installation was harder then expected as the attachment holes were misaligned from the radiator support. The fiberglass shield also had to have the holes opened slightly more to allow the connector to fit.
The look and performance is great and it outweighs the difficulty in the installation."
