"I bought this product in hopes of getting an increase in gas mileage on my 2008 5.3 silverado, my first tank went from 16.5 to 17.9, that is mostly city driving and alot of stop n go traffic. Easy to install and I'm not a good mechanic by any means. My 14 year old son loves the new sound from the intake and can't wait to drive it this summer after he takes drivers training, there goes my gas mileage."

"I have seen an instant inprovment in my F-150 STX 4.6L! Responsiveness and sound have made noticable increases. I have not had an opprotunity to calculate actual MPG increase but believe this should inprove as well."

"Intake kit sounds great inproved performance not as shifty in trans. as before . Still have not seen any inprovment in gas millage witch was my main reason for purchase. Have not been to heavy on gas pedal but at times hard to stay off of it. Have it on work truck with big utility box lot of weight so other trucks it may inprove millage."

"The plastic pice that go around the housing should fit much better.( is 1" to short). The arm that mount to the side is way way to short for a truck that have no security horn. Look at it and see it yourself, that arm will never work in a million year. I made an arm of my self to install that. The housing should be much better design for the that price. I am not inpress with that. The intake itself is very nice. I will not buy another..."

"Filter installed easily, in about 20 minutes, but really didn't make a noticeable power difference. The sound difference however was nice, and I love it."

"The cold air intake system was very easy to install. The instructions were very detailed and the pictures were excellent in pointing out areas of interest when installing the system. After having it installed now for approximately 3 weeks, I have been able to see about a 3 to 4 mile per gallon increase in fuel mileage. Which, in an age of $3.50 gas, any little bit helps. Also, upon my initial test drive immediately after the install, I was able to tell a nice boost in HP that was very noticable in the 3000 to 4500 RPM range. The car is also a little bit louder than stock but it is a nice "throaty" sounds now over the stock system and is not by any means annoying. Overall I would highly recommend this product not only for the ease of install and price, but also for the added benefits you receive in the form of increased gas mileage and more HP. You will not be disappointed."

"The K&N is an incredible product my silverado screams upon acceleration. The respone has gone up, easy to install about 45 minutes, but as for the gas mileage i dont know because i keep the pedal on the floor. All in all great product."

"Product came in two days. Installation is a piece of cake once you get the ball rolling. Instant performance!!! Definitely adds horsepower to those of you who have a lead foot. Adds beauty under the hood- get rid of all that hindering plastic now! Great product- Great price!"

"I have an 07 F150 with a 5.4 litre motor and wanted the CAI for more horsepower and possible better fuel mileage. I chose the K&N because I have heard good things and have had them in the past. The instructions for the kit are well put together, but the pictures should be bigger. If you do not have much experience working on vehicles, then make sure you have plenty of time and maybe even some help from someone more experienced. As far as the power goes, this kit will definitely help. The motor reacts more quickly and sounds much better. Mileage has improved, too. I think that I have had a 2-3 mileage avg. increase on the freeway and 1-2 avg. increase in town. This kit works, and I recommend it."

"So far, the K&N FIPK air intake kit has increased my Siiverado Crew Cab gas mileage by 6 to 7% in my typical around town driving. With current gas prices, it will pay for itself in no time. Now I'm thinking about getting one for my Explorer."

"Installation of K&N 63 Aircharger High-Flow Intake kit a tough fit but done in 45 min.Owned my Honda Ridgeline for 2 years and know milage well.General everyday runaround driveing got easy 15+ per gal.Hiway 21+.First 520 general runaround miles 29.6 gal =17.5 per gal.Can,t wait for first hiway trip. Love the sound and feel when you have to hit it. Whit."

"Designed for the V10 but will fit the 5.4 after talking with Ford (their the same parts for the air intake),it fit perfectly. I could feel the increase in power right away.I tow a 35ft RV so any additional power is always helpfull."

"The longest chrome tube coming from the throttle body and going across the engine had a 4" dent in it on the side that faces the front of the SUV, which means you can see it every time you raise the hood. The tubing in my opinion is tinny and cheap. The one bracket on that same tube did not line up correctly and had to be CARFULLY bent to fit. The installation was fairly straight forward and simple. On the performance side, it sounds great and their is a noticeable improvement in power, quite nice. Now I have to learn not to push down so hard, on that last pedal on the right."

"I installed the BBK CAI on my 06 Mustang GT and wasn't pleased. I removed it because it kicked out a code and I didn't want to re-tune. I heard K&N didn't need a re-tune. Installation was not the easiest and I passed on the tube support part. Anyway, this CAI is kick-butt. I instantly noticed a change in performance and OH THAT SOUND. It now SNARLES! I've always replaced OEM filters with OEM K&Ns in all my cars and have been very pleased. This CAI by K&N keeps me a believer."

"The directions are horrible and the install on a Escalade isn't as straight forward. The install requires you to drill a 5/8" hole in metal which isn't a drill bit size most will have handy to attach filter box. The clamps provided are little to small for the Escalade throttle body and mass air flow sensor and required the use of stock clamps, wasn't a big deal but would been nice that instructions would of informed me prior to messing with it for 15mins. The sound and performance gain defiantly worth install problems. Would recommend"
