"i have a 2006 gmc sierra with a 6 inch fab tech lift. i put the K&N 63 Series AirCharger High-Flow Intake Kit and really noticed a difference in the throttle response and i was getting 11/14 mpg now 14/17 mpg but i also installed a throttle body spacer...great product but has a ittle whistle.."

"The unit was easily installed by a friend. Add some noise that I wasn't expecting, but there does seem to be a slight increase in power and fuel efficiency. Thinking of buying the CatBack system and headers for the next phase as I want to get some extra horses to tow a small boat trailer."

"I just took a trip to south Mississippi, I don't know if it was the sound that made it feel like more power or it just gives you more power period!!!! It brings back memeroies of the 4 barrel carb. I like it! Ron"

"a bit noisier, definitely feels like it is breathing easier and revving more easily and higher. A good match for the hotter cams and tune of the magnum engine. A couple of minor discrepancies in the installation instructions, but nothing serious. Overall recommended."

"Followed the instructions and it took about 1 and 1/2 hours to completely install. Did it at home with just a few tools. Better than I expected. Right away gained about 1 mpg increase at a steady speed. Wish I would have gotten this intake for my old truck. This was installed on a 2007 Dodge 1500 Hemi."

"this kit was easy to install all the parts were clearly labelled and complete. the truck seems to have a greater response throughout the rev range( seat of the pants guage) Even the increased intake roar is welcomed. i would have given it five stars bt it didn't include world peace."

"I installed K&N 63 Series AirCharger High-Flow Intake, on my V8 4runner and 996 Porsche, they sound great over 4000 rpm. regarding MPG, i am sure it gets better MPG if i stay off of it, meaning i will not get better MPG.

"Easy to install, if all the hardware is in the kit. You have to step on it to notice a horsepower difference. Yes, it is louder than the OEM kit, but it makes you wonder what is under the hood. You have more view of the engine and it really looks great after the install is complete."

"this is my second time for owning this particular item, first one was professionally installed and loved that one, and second one I installed and ran into a problem with clamps(2)that were not large enough and had to purchase from outside parts store and haven`t really noticed much of a difference yet, only drive about 40 miles a week."

"easy to install, and i'm not very mechanically inclined. just about an hour to take out oem air intake/filter and installing the k&n. definitely a bit more pickup and a nice throaty sound when you push the throttle hard. at normal cruising rpms, noise is not pronounced, which is nice. small and easy investment for the "toaster.""

"Easy to install, good instructions but too costly for what you get in return. I notice no difference in power or perfromance nor do I see any difference in eity mileage but have not had on the highway so maybe will get better then 14 MPG. 4x4 Silverado with 5.3"

"I bought my K&N Cold Air Intake for my 2007 Dodge Caliber hoping to improve my mpg and sound. After about 2 Hours of Moderate difficulty installation (easy things arent worth doing) I started the car and it sounded like a completely different car, my caliber now roars, when i tap the gas I get a great throttle response as well as a great sound , i would definitely recommend it to anyone, K&N is the pinnacle of Cold Air Intakes , they are worth the extra money. The instructions were a little shady in some areas about some aspects of installation , but anyone with a brain can figure it out. BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!"

Confusing instructions, does what it should

"First off, the install was a bit more of a pain than I expected. The pictures that came with the instructions and some of the labeling threw me off. I'm sure if you've installed other K&N stuff before, then it probably won't be a problem. On the other hand I can tell that my acceleration is a little quicker, my gas mileage has increased, and my car is louder when I get on it.
I got the SRI due to the fact that it's necessary to remove your bumper if you get the CAI. Also, I don't want to have to worry about driving my car in the rain. I knew a valve could be used on the CAI to prevent water flowing through the intake, but from what I found those CAIs were no better the SRIs when the valve was used."

"Best investment so far for my truck. Improved my fuel by 3 mpg! Ride is alot quiter and smoother. Has a great sound when the throttle is punched. Directions are pretty vague and can be confusing, but work able. A must have for all vehicles."
