"From going to a stock air box to this thing is awesome. I have a 2006 Cobalt and it sounds so much better than it did before. It has this menacing growl to it. I can really feel it when i launch from a stop light or even while i am driving. Great investment!!"

"Fairly easy install, although seemed to be more bending, pushing, twisting, shoving than should have been necessary. seat-of-the-pants dyno seems to show a bit more torque, who knows. Mated to an SPT exhaust it runs well. Sounds a little raspier/gaspier than I expected, but not at all bothersome unless your foot is on the floor."

"I installed both the exhaust and cold air at the same time. There is a clear hp gain, although I can tell how much and the sound at full bore is as it should be. Perfect. I'm getting thumbs up and rock on signs from the tuner boys. I'm 65. I will sort out the the real performance when I get to the track in a couple of weeks for a track day. Although it doesn't mean much for function I like the design of the K and N intake. It looks like it fits as opposed to a bolt-on for many of the cold air systems. I'm happy and the AutoAnything process was great. There was a slight delay in the delivery of the K and N, but that had to do with the 70 feet of snow we had. I think I know what I'm doing. I do a lot of track days and have a supercharged etc Miata that I also use at the the track. And then there are the motorcycles. . . ."

"Great product to install on my VW GTI. Took a little longer than planned to install it, but looks awesome. The sound is exelent as well as the performance. There is a significant change in the gas pedal responce now that the intake has been installed; i like it alot. Would deffinatly recomend to others."

"When i received my intake 4 days after i had ordered it i was excited. The next day i installed it and it took about 2 hours because i had to look for all my Uncle's tools, but other than that it was a pretty easy install. The car sounds great now, much more responsive, and it looks great on my engine."

"Very easy to install if you just look at it instead of the pictures in the instructions. Makes the car sound great and increased my avg MPG from 31.5 to 34.5. The pictures in the instructions didn't seem to look like my car. Just take the old airbox off and put this one on, its just about that easy. Make sure to check the tightness of the filter after a short drive, as I didn't tighten mine enough & it came off."

"Relatively easy to install - just take your time and use a little spray silicone to help with the removal of some of the parts from your stock intake assembly. The fit and finish of the K&N intake is very good - it was easy to connect and just took a few minor adjustments to get it just right. Noticeable improvement in throttle response and general acceleration characteristics - more power across the RPM band. Also seems to improve my MPG by about 5%. Another great K&N product."

"Very nice edition to the engine compartment, now it is a lot less cluttered. Installation took about 1 hour and the installation instructions were very easy to understand. Picked up about 2mpg and seems to accelerate a little better in the 3000+ rpm range. Also makes the engine louder in that range too, but quiets down below that at cruising speeds. Now all I need is an exhaust and other goodies to take advantage of the increase in air intake. Autoanything shipped this the following day of placing the order and arrived within 4 days, awesome!!"

"My car definately sounds better, seems like it has a little more power. The instructions had errors, you can not install the solenoid in two places, but I figured it out. Not really as easy to install as they would like you to believe, especially with numerous errors in the instructions."

"The instructions from K&N listed ALL the tools you need.I had to use an allen wrench and phillips screwdriver and a few other tools to do the job that was not listed. Install overall was easy by the instructions,except of the location of the mass air sensor I had to pull the connector out of the wiring harness. Actually i needed an extension for it of about 3in or so."
