"I got this for my 07 Camry v6. The sound is so deep after 4k rpm till you change the gear you hear it more than exhaust even if the exhaust is after market performance once. It is a good performance upgrade for your car. My car got more aggressive."

"Before installation I was concerned that it would be too loud; I was agreeably surprised that the noise seemed perfectly normal around low revs, cruising etc. However, above 3500rpm the sound and power really kick in giving a most gratifying "turbocharged" feel. You can really get the extra power in 3rd gear where 60mph comes up much more quickly than stock. The heat shield was not quite the perfect fit, with a bit of a gap between the bottom and the seal provided in the kit, but all in all most satisfactory!"

Simple Too Install.......Great Results !

"I put the Blue Typhoon in a 2005 Eclipse Spyder....20 minutes to remove stock, 60 minutes to install aftermarket. It sounds like a typhoon coming between 3750 and 6000 RPM's. You can downshift at a little higher RPM( you can hear the engine a little better). Horse Power up a bit( I don't have a DYNO ). Everything was furnished properly. THANKS K and N ! ! ! Steve"

"I was very impressed with the Typhoon kit. If you want alittle more power with engine noise , you sure will not be disappointed with this kit. My gas mileage also improved from the regular K&N panel filter on hwy miles."

"Well i first purchased my Chevy Cobalt used, and let me tell you this thing is bone stock EVERYTHING. No power accessories at all! Since i have bolted on the K&N tyhpoon kit, i can't get out of the driver seat! I love the mean sound it gives my car, as well as the extra added power. I can now blow past that slower traffic on my drives home. Thank you for bringing me a quality product for less then the vender price!"

"I LOVE it. I can really tell that there is more horsepower. THis a long with a Borla Exhaust, really sound GREAT together. WOuld have preferred the Red one in the ad, but it is not available. Who says short ram does not make a difference. This is my 2nd K&N intake and will but K&N again in the future.!!!"

"I have had many different short ram intakes on my Mits. Lancer, but none have performed that way that K&N's Typhoon intake has. It gives the car a deep sound and a noticeable difference in power off the line. This is a BIG filter that finally allows the engine to start breathing like it needs to. My opinion is that this should be the first upgrade done to any car."

"I HAD JUST INSTALLED A K&N COLD AIR INTAKE SYSTEM ON MY 05' WRX. WOW, THIS THING REALLY ROCKS. MUCH IMPROVED HP- UP @ 12 HP. BETTER PICK UP, ESPECIALLY ON AN AUTOMATIC AND WHAT A GNARLY SOUND, I CAN HEAR THE INTAKE GROWL AND THE BLOW OFF VALVE CLEARLY AND STRONGLY. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. THANKS KING IN NO. FLORIDA."

"The enhanced performance is terrific, but the installation process and quality left a little to be desired. The pictures and descriptions for a couple of the steps in the installation process were undecipherable, one of the hose clamps provided was too small, and the heat shield does not align with the engine cover, making reinstallation of the cover difficult."

"I bought it because it's a K&N. However, the filter is a VERY flimsy design, NOT something of high quality that I'd expect from them. One caveat, however, is that the filter's "sheer" quality may be what yields the reported outstanding flow. All I know is that the K&N filter material that is used on the V8 design is of a higher quality, ie: more of it. Either way, it is way overpriced. Probably cost K&N under 20 dollars to make in CHINA."

Power you can feel = $ave on gas milage

"This is an amazing product, not only can I merge into traffic a lot easier but I've noticed that at 55 mph I'm using much less throttle. I haven't calculated the gas milage yet but using less throttle = better gas milage in my mind. Nice and quiet at steady speeds but roars to life when you need speed quickly. Seems to make the car run much smoother at all speeds. I am very impressed by the difference between this and the stock intake. I really didn't think that it would make this much difference."
