"I know huge gains on a sport compact from just an intake aren't possible, but I am very satisfied with this intake. Power has increased midrange but mostly in vtec, where it counts. The sound is awesome. Only complaint...in very hot weather heat soak noticeable before 5k rpm, after 5 grand though, even in 100 degree weather, it still kicks hp up. Satisfied."

"The filter took a little less than 30 minutes to install. Lower RPM horsepower is greater but, mid RPM feels less. When I let off the gas it sounds like air blows back thru the filter from the turbo. It is annoying and sounds like crap. I will call K&N to see if this is normal. The car only has 800 miles and it has not been driven hard."

"The installation was straight forward and fairly easy to accomplish. It took me a little longer than I thought due to having to find larger screws to tighten down parts in the Mini's plastic. Otherwise, I'm very pleased with the product and love the sound. Averaged about 33mpg on a recent trip to Pinehurst according to the computer."

"The sound is great, uninstalling the stock air system is time consuming and annoying but installing the intake was quick and easy, recently my airfilter fell off when i was driving, not sure if we didnt put it on tight or if it just fell off...can't tell if it helps with hp or with gas mileage...sounds good enough for me though..."

"I am pleased with the performance of the 69 series intake but have been having problems with fitment, i.e the intake tube being a smaller diameter than my throttle body it causes turbulence and creates a humming noise. I have to readjust the intake once in a while when it starts doing it."

"The car sounds and runs sportier. The only complain is that the mounting supporter for the one sensor (not the airmess sensor) is too close to the steering oil box so that there is no way to mount the sensor back on to the pipe. Other than that, everything is OK"

"That's slmost what it is. I had everything installed in less than an hour. I love the sound that my car now has. I noticed that my car has more power and pull. I don't even have to drop gears to pass on the expressway anymore, unless I want to have a little fun. I read a review that says the typhoon adds about 7 horse, I'm thinking nine or ten. Here's the best part, are you ready?
I'm now up from 26 mpg to 33 mpg!!!!!!!!!!!!
All in all, I'm glad I made the purchase."
