"From the moment I put this intake on my 2006 Eclipse GT, I immediately notice an increase in performance. Even though the installation was a little bit interesting at times. This product was immediately a great buy for the price. I would recommend this product to anyone. Adds the power and great loooking under the hood."

Easier air filter maintenance.

"This system for a CRV makes for a much simplified air filter maintenance. All you need to do is loosen the clamp to the air filter, clean, oil and re-install. No more loosening multiple clamps and unbolting the box which the filter is in to get to the filter. The only drawback is the price for the K & N unit."

"i didnt think it was good at all. my power in certain gears got worst..... excceleration was not noticable. only thing i like is the sound of the intake at three thousand rpms. i bought injen intake for my toyota solora and was very impressed with it. no comparision to the k&n intake on my camry. very dissappionted in it. it sucks that it is this way because i was looking forward to this for some time now........"

K & N Series Typhoon Cold Air Intake

"Installed the system on a 5.7 liter hemi. Installation was fairly easy, although the instructions could have given a few more details about how to disconnect a couple of items from the old system, which I had never had to disconnect before. Took about 45 minutes whereas the instructions said it should take about half an hour. Intake still maintained the quiet idle, but can definitely hear and feel a difference when you get into it. Right away, I started getting about 1.5 mpg better gas mileage than I was before, in around town traffic. Will see how much it improves on a trip next month"

"it was easy to install and the sound is great. what i like most about it is the fact that when you dont rev the engine it is quiet and sounds like a normal engine with no mods on it. but when you do rev it, the sound is unique but not like one of those fart cannons. overall it was worth it."

"Deffinately increased top end power and fuel mileage. It is still quiet in normal operation but you can tell the pick is quick when you get on the throttle. Excellent product and performance"

"Before instalation 60 to 80 in top gear took 10.17 seconds. Now it takes 9.11 seconds. I have used the K&n typhoon on other vehicles with great results."

"Could not be easier. Instructions indicated would take 1- 1/2 hours. Actually took 1/2 hr. Everything but screwdriver & wrench was included! Looks & sounds great. Can feel the power difference immediately."

"This K&N intake is very easy to install. The kit comes with excellent step by step instructions. I think it took me about an hour to install. It bolts up very solid and robust. I haven't noticed major improvement in the power but I have seen about a 2 mpg increase in my gas mileage. The kit is a bit expensive at $321. At $200 I think it would be a great deal."

"I don't know much about engines and whatnot but this was easy to install and most certainly added a little extra kick to my peppy ride. At idle you can hear the air sipping under the hood...not as quiet as stock. But when you put the peddal to the medal at the higher RPMs this thing sounds nice, even on my little 4 banger! Easy to install, took me about an hour and a half because I didn't want to mess anything up."

"I'm not use to popping my hood, taking things out, and putting new things in so easily. The install was surprisingly easy. The performance boost was clearly noticeable - not to mention how awesome the red CAI looks under the hood! I definitely recommend this for anyone trying to personally mod their car for performance."

"I got the box and had it installed in about 1-2 hours It had all the supplies and the instruction were ok (black and white) pictures. After I had it installed and test drove it. WOW it was night and day the preformance is amazing and the added sound is a plus."

"Installed this into a Kia Spectra 5... the instructions were very good, and somewhat easy. Instantly noticed additional torque and horsepower and had too much fun pushing the limits on this car after I installed that I didn't see any improvements in gas mileage. Now that I'm over the fact that I can floor it and drive more sensible I have noticed a slight improvement in mileage, not much but some is better than none."

"I put this Typhoone intake on my Mustang in less than an hour. This is the 5th vehicle I've used K & N on and I've never been disappointed. Most of the power gain is above 35-40 MPH, but I noticed an increase in mileage of 1 or 2MPG. Plus it looks fantastic too! I'd definitely reccommend this to anyone!"
